I had decided my goal was to start on Branches so I could get more of the house back into shape and woork on decluttering overall.
I'm happy to announce that I finished the master bedroom and two closet clean as a whistle! All the clothes, sweaters, belts, shoes, and pursees gone through. The room sparkles. Plusa under the bed which are a few boxes and table clothes gone through.
I was also able tohave a load for Am Vets to pick up which they didn't do so I'm giving to the church youth for their sale. Happy with that anyway. I hope to add to it before the sell.
Right now I'm tired but I'm going to go check and see which branch comes up next so I can make my game plan to get it done too.
I did want want to say everyone is doing so good. Don't forget so do something special for yourselves this weekend.

I'm going to get a jump start on 'guest room' branch because it's turned into a catch all room and I'm tired of it. I want it to look neat because I hate closing the door and it's right by the bathroom so it's seen.
It's the room with all the toys and I know they need to be gone through which I have some. Will look through the toys and see if I can add to them.

Cindy A nice basket with a cover is great for hiding toys, or put them in a laundry basket in the closet and take the out when the kiddies visit! That was what I did.

Last weekend was our regular one for SO's son so we had not 1 but 3, all weekend long. Lots of laughter and craziness with them, and lots of eating. Had a big talk with them on Friday night about the condition they left the basement in 2 weeks prior and talked about expectations and cleanliness. Happy to report that the basement is looking much better.
SO and I got our taxes done and filed and I can now put away the box for 2011 and get it out of the office into the storage room. Have managed to get a bunch of filing done, not really getting ahead as I would like, but am keeping up with anything coming into the house and making a bit of progress in the meantime.
Also working on the class and thrice weekly therapy sessions for the hand. Almost there and am hoping in the next 2 weeks to be back to my normal schedule. Class is almost halfway done. My friend is anxious for me to finish as her real estate business is booming.
Off to therapy and work now.

Haven't made it back into the bedroom yet. I hope to some this week though. I have had to get ready for the heating/air guys. They have been doing a number on the yard so I'm having to redo part of it. They put the unit where my mulch pile was. So I'm going to have to rethink.
I did get the one flower bed done. It haven't survive last summer's heat. Hopefully this design will work. I have all the pots planted except for the one I want a grass in. I still need to get it before they sell out.

BL: Good going on the taxes! Mine have to have an extension due to some of the paperwork being late! Hate that!
You are one busy lady. How is the hand? Hopefully you will finish and get into your new line of work!
Cindy: Sounds like you are completing a lot of things around your home. Good going.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Unfortunately, I have done zippo! Haven't been home and when I gethme Iam too tired to go downstairs. Thinking of putting in a few hours on Sat. Think I am home all day other than church.
Dianaro, the hand is healing. Still some soreness and swelling. flexibility is not completely back nor is the strength. Therapist says I am coming along fine as does dr and that it can take up to 6 months from surgery to regain it all. Hoping to be back at regular hours come end of next week.
Like you, I am not getting lots done but am generally keeping up.
Came home to surprise last night. SO couldn't sleep so he went into the garage and was shocked at the mess the boys had made working on various projects and how they messed up tools, etc(he has LOTS of tools), so he ended up working in the garage for a few hours clearing out some stuff and reorganizing other things....and he called his son, and they had a "come to Jesus" meeting" about taking care of things and putting things away.
He was not raised to be careless and sloppy but his mom is that way and allows him to be a slob. That will not happen here and the boundaries are now in stone.
I continue to work on my class, my therapy and just keep things going. Working on the, hopefully, final issues with the irs and will also start with GA as well.....I never thought this would take so long, considering we have been apart for over four years and divorced for two and a half! At least there is some light at the end of the tunnel!
BL Glad things are slooooowly coming to a head with your IRS problems. They take forever. Too bad we cannot fire them! LOL
Glad you are feeling better, and the healing is continuing. Surgery does take a toll on your body and it needs time to heal.
Glad SO spoke to his son, and also cleaned up the mess they made!
Sounds like you are doing great, and moving forward.
