Sunshine! And that 4°C start has warmed right up to 15°C. Dare I hope that the forecast of snow for the next two days is just a big mistake or a joke?
Went to mass, then picked up some groceries. The store was full of people from the local churches! Checked e-mail, wrote one, deleted a lot. DH Skyped me before I had my lunch. I watched an old comedy show on-line.
The afternoon is going fast. Shall I soak up the heat in the car outside with a good book? I love that heat at the end of winter. Or shall I get into old clothes and putter in the yard? Or go for a walk? I won't be doing taxes yet, that's for sure.

It's been a while since I've been posting on here. My life has made an unexpected turn and I'm working at remaking my life based on a "new normal".
Two weeks ago today my DH died unexpectedly. I have mixed feelings about it - I'm glad that he's been set free from the physical pain and challenges that he was dealing with 24-7 but I feel extremely sad for me in that I will have to live out the rest of my life without his presence. He was a wonderful man and a fabuous husband. I am strong - I will make the required adjustments!
Right now I am dealing with what needs to be done next (or one step at a time). Therefore today, I want to do -
- laundry (finish 1 load) - d/w - empty clean dishes, start refilling - MBR - sand filled spots on wall, add more fill if needed - write down what I eat today (WW refresher) - deal with more of my late DH's clothes (sell and/or donate) I've already dealt with the stuff that was ready to be tossed. - deal with stuff that's still in my mother's former home (bring home the things I want to keep and take pics of the things that I want to sell) - other tasks?

Diana, it was such a pleasant afternoon that I bundled up and walked round to see someone I haven't seen for ages, and we had a nice visit. Later I took out a music book and sang (no one around to suffer, LOL), and then I got out some oil pastels and played around with them, since I had found some good instructions on-line on using them.
I finished off the second disc of the Gardens DVD set and crocheted, then undid the last two rounds of the square, as at the end I discovered that on the previous row I had created a corner along one side!
Today: Dailies Funeral choir and funeral - done Mail two greetings cards - done Picked up a few groceries- done E-mail DH - done, but may write another before the day is out. Strip bed and launder sheets, put fresh set on. Ironing. Take it easy - that cold wet weather is tiring.

Darlene: I am so sorry for your pain, and I am glad you and DH had such a long and wonderful marriage. Good memories are wonderful. There will be days that are harder than others, but your faith will help you thru those.
Buhlady: I am so enjoying your days with you! LOL, I've done that also with the crocheting on the rounds for a granny square myself!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Had some computer trouble and DS2 was in town and straightened out the problem. Bought him dinner. DDIL is with mom for her chemo.
Did odds and ends today.
