Here you go, a picture of DD's dress (thought she was wearing the sash, but I guess she hadn't put it on yet). Please ignore all the miscellaneous JUNK in the background. Still in the process of finding homes for that stuff.

Carol, what a sweet dress! I love the flowers, and the little bolero is great, matching with the shoes. So glad you have something good to look forward to. Your home looks lovely, and we all know you are still in the process of sorting it out, among a zillion other things!

I see a lot of GONers have been really busy, good for you. I am sorry to hear about those of you with health problems of one kind and another. I went through my dental saga, which should be complete in 10 days time with the final filling and build up. The root canal was okay till the last stage of pushing the stuff into the root cavity, then I just about hit the ceiling!

It's a bit late to start posting my April goals now! But there has been significant progress in the basement and mostly now we have to get the last of the maple cleanup accomplished. DH is off on a business trip in a few days time, and I plan to get busy while I have the place to myself.

I cleaned a few windows on the inside last week and I have the rest to do. I want to get the screens in the bedroom windows so I can open them now it is warm out (but not once the pollen starts to fly.

The car interior is appalling and I plan to vacuum it soon. I've plenty to do, never a dull moment for a GONer, right?

Love the dress, so springy. So nice to see a girl dressing properly and not hanging out all over the place! Good for DD!

Bushlady:
OUCH for you! You are always busy. Did you finish making the
maple syrup?

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dispite being under the weather, I completed the laundry and taking down the easter decorations. Rested in between an definitely did ETEing after every thing I did.
Diana - It's a bit far to commute smile
Carol - love the dress very pretty!
Well I tidied up in the garden some more yesterday, relaid one paving slab and laid a new one. I am now out of sand, but we will get some more at the weekend.
I told DH next on my list is to dig out the side lawn and put a flower bed in and some more paving slabs. I think he is just glad I don't expect him to do it. He just has to fetch the supplies.
My goodness Mary, you sure are great at all the emails you receive. Great going.
Karen:
Really? It is a little far I guess, LOL Great going on the pavers. I keep forgetting to let Gypsy in the back yard and bringing some clippers to clip some weeds growing in my
one area. They won't take long once I start!
Planning on pricing my sales item the rest of the week while tv watching.
Happy new week everyone!!! I had a productive weekend -- not as much as I'd like it to have been but productive nonetheless. At one point on Saturday I was feeling kind of low and it was because I couldn't seem to get things done without having to keep one eye on the puppy at all times. Then I remembered that her crate is not just for when I'm not home. It's for when I cannot keep an eye on her and I have things to do. I can't let those sad little eyes get to me. Diana, can you imagine me trying to work on a dollhouse with a dog jumping all over the place???
Here's what I got done:
April Goals
Health
-Call doctor about change in meds
-Review ballet workout DVD's and put together a workout program for myself
-Start (again!) taking vitamins
-put reminders on my iPhone to take meds and vitamins daily
Also bought pill organizers
-make appointments for mammo, OB-GYN, dentist (bleh!!!)
House
-write-up Master Lists for each room in the house
-go through boxes in garage and take out items and set aside for Goodwill pick-up The items are all bagged and boxed-up and labeled ready for pick-up on Thursday. Yippee!
-alphabetize DVD's in bedroom and move to library shelves
-finish last 2 loads of laundry
-make up housework schedule (this is in progress). Made a complete list of all household chores, etc. that I need to do. Now, just have to put them into a doable schedule.
Making up this schedule is proving to be a bit of a challenge since I now have a dog and I want to fit a serious workout (weightlifting, etc.) in somewhere. I can't work out at lunchtime because I don't start work until 1:00 p.m. and don't take a "lunch break" until almost 4:00. Hmmmm...
Interests
-Mail vendors contracts and checks to Nancy for Zeta event
-mail birthday cards and check to church for Easter lilies
-upload photos to miniatures club web site
-finish finalizing miniatures club minutes and email them
-Put away supplies from last miniature project
-continue with miniature magazines index spreadsheet (ongoing)
-start miniature commission job (4 miniature bonnets for customer)
Personal
-take clothes to dry cleaners
-mail box of yarns to my mother only got as far as taping up the box because I ran out of packing tape. Will have to run to the store to get more. I bought more tape, finished getting the box together. The only thing I have to do is take the box to the post office.
-mail baby booties and hats to Zeta March of Dimes coordinator
-mail check for state taxes (due by April 30)
-check P.O. Box for Zeta mail
-went to Dollar General and picked up on some food items for the church food pantry and delivered them on Sunday.
I'm going to take my lunch break now and continue working on my housework schedule.
BBL
