I am so proud of you, I told you so! Knew you would do well on your test. WHOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO Quite an accomplishment, feelt so happy for you.

You worked quite a bit on the house too!

Purdy:
Good going on the ironing pile.

Fleur:
You were one busy gal. Yep, I am trying to downsize my freezer and pantry also.

Great going everyone! Reward yourself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Got the front hall closet cleaned up, and emptied pretty well.
Sorting thru beads,and sequins for an upcoming ornament. Will take a few more hours. The kit had everything, pins, sequins,(2 colors) small beads and larger beads. Maybe another hour or two and then it will be faster to complete the ornaments once they are sorted.
Going to take my friend out for he birthday this afternoon,
Bubblegum - A huge congratulations and a well done to you!
This morning DS was up at 6.30am so we had breakfast then headed to the park for an hour or so.
On our return home I did some gardening, then after lunch we both took a nap. I just pottered about ETEing and PUPAing for the rest of the day. I have had a successful weekend on Ebay so I am just going to update the toss thread then package my sales.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday all!
Bubblegum, CONGRATS!!
I got rid of the LR couch and Loveseat at mom's YAY.
While I waited for them to come get it, the girl across the street was having a yard sale, so took a few tables from mom's and put them out, didn't sell, so just brought them back over there.
Did TEN bags of leaves while I waited today. Got half the perimeter of the front yard done.
Finn was playing, let out a yelp and is limping again. I don't know what the heck is going on, he was mending and fine. I can't afford all the xrays they said I would have to do right now even with his "pet" insurance.
DD's cat not much better, she (DD) is a mess. Cat has asthma real bad on top of congestive heart failure. And he is only Three years old.
Didn't do my paperwork, I'll be up early tomorrow and force myself to get it done before I leave.
Big project here today. I have this large, although not deep double closet in my hallway where I keep all of my extra kitchen stuff and the small appliance (coffee bean grinder, food processor, juicer, vacuum sealer, etc.) It's always been a mess. A big mess. Apparently the previous homeowner's tried a very poor attempt at putting shelving in there and there were 3 super high shelves that were good for nothing. Plus they looked bad.
I knocked the shelving out today, patched the walls, painted the inside of the closet and now I'm waiting for DH to get home from playing tennis to install the new shelving I purchased. There will be 3 rails down the back wall which will allow for adjustable shelves. I bought 4 shelves - they're only 12" deep which is a drag but that's the closet.
While waiting for DH, I've been tossing stuff and putting the rest into bins. I have 2 bins of cookie cutters left after tossing at least 1/3 of them. 2 bins of cake decorating stuff, a large bin of all of my kitchen aid mixer attachments - the pasta maker parts, etc. One big bin of all misc kitchen items that I don't use often so I don't want in the main drawers in the kitchen, but use enough to not toss.
The top shelf will be my two large candelabras and some silver pieces like the coffee pot, tea pot.
The bottom will hold the meat slicer & bread machine.
Really can't wait to get this done.
diana, most of my audio downloads are 1hr long
i woke up at 11pm sat night and finished reading my 75 email for sun before bed. i also took a shower and washed my hair. i went back to bed at 3am.
i woke at 645pm and it was still hot from the middle of the day. i watched 60 min's tribute to mike wallace, then bought stamps from the machine at the post office. came home and worked on the budget, did the dailies inc cleaning my earrings and restocking the pepsi. washed 3 sweaters and took down the easter decorations. then i started reading the last booklet that i got down a few days ago. i stopped after an hr to eat some corned beef hash, eggs and toast, then got on here. and read all the 'just in's.
Bubblegum - Well done! I did a bit of research into the OU degree programmes, but they refused to tell me how much it would cost (you need to know the exact modules you want to do for the entire degree) so I declined to go any further with it. It just means I will have to take a different route but I will get there. I'm still going to do the GCSE's etc.
Yesterday I did get the rubbish, recycling and accounts done.
Today Iv changed the beds, put on two washes and Iv also put a pile of books onto shelves. Iv got a huge pile of tapes to go through later. Iv just three more bags of books to put up, but they will go right in the corner so I will need to move the furniture to get the ladder in to reach.
Bubblegum, that's great!!! Congrats!
Diana, you'll have to post pics sometime of the ornaments you're doing!
Waterlady, sorry your pets aren't well.
Kim, I did the same thing to a closet in our living room. Best thing I could have done! Hope you love yours!
Mary, you're doing a great job!
Purdy, great going on your stuff!
Have a really busy week ahead. Will need to be sure to stay on top of things! Will be challenging, but doable. Really, we'll be busy the next three weeks!! Have the garage sale this weekend, Homeschool convention the following weekend, with the musical the following Thursday. Plus meetings to schedule, two singing opportunities (one with the girls, one as a duet with a guy from our church), schooling, and normal house stuff!) Prayers would be appreciated!!
Cya! It's time to go workout with the girls!
Wow!
Everyone is so productive. WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO
Kimberly:
I bet the closet drove you crazy! I remember how great your old supply closet was at the old house.....I was so envious of it! Glad you will have a new closet! That is great.
Waterlady:
Glad the sofa and love seat sold!
Sorry about Finn and your grandkitty.
Wendy:
I am totally challenged with pics and computer! It won't happen especially with DD1 not living with me, she would do it for me.
Mary
Good for you in listening to so much information and ideas.
after i postedsun, i read the forum and finished reading my 75 email for mon, then got down 3 more books to read while listening to another motivational tape. it's been so long that i've been listening to webinars and downloads that i forgot to switch the boombox from cd to tape, so i missed the 1st half of the tape!
i finally figured out where metro hides when he goes into my closet... he gets into his carrier. you would think he wouldn't want to get in it b/c he usually only gets put in there to go to the vet. he must have known that is the last place i would look so that's why he chose it.
i washed three sweaters and ran the dw, got everything put away and then left to p/u my dry cleaning, but as soon as i walked in i realilized they said mon AFTER 6, so i turned around and went to petsmart (same shopping center) i got litter, and both moist and dry food. home again and got the dry food into jars b/c i've had a cat eat right thru the bag before (there was food all over the floor). finally i got c/u on here and went to bed around 11am.
i woke at 10pm and now i'm c/u on here again. but i need to get to the household stuff
