Yay, sold the LR furniture!!! Long story but the woman is coming back tom'w morning to pick it up.

DGF left around 11 am this morning. Got the branches all picked up in the front yard that I was waiting for the tree guy to come and do, another no show.

Just have about four huge branches to take care of, will have to ask the neighbors to help.

DD's cat is almost fatally sick again, she is a mess. He is the cutest cat I have ever met. (I'm not a cat person) She has only had him since last fall. Prayers needed for my totally distraught daughter!!

Really weird day. Had storms throughout the morning and were expecting more this afternoon. Thought it would have a been a good thing to get a head start at pricing the garage sale stuff. The girls and I worked together and got some of it done.

Took a nap this afternoon, and the storms never came. If I would have known that I could have run this afternoon! Anyway, I did get the dishes done and prepared a nice supper. Now we're just chilling, getting ready for tomorrow. DH has to work tomorrow (he did today too).

Am staying on top of the family to keep stuff tidy this weekend. Don't like working on it all week then it get so out of control during the weekend.

Be careful everyone that's getting the storms. Think it will miss us, but I know further west and north aren't.

i'm glad you could at least ete, i diana.

i finished reading my 75 email for sat and then listened to my last 8 downloads (only 1 was an hr long. the rest were about 20 min ea) and fell asleep during the last 1.

colleen woke me up around 1130am and i relistened to the last download, then read all of my 'to read' downloads but 1 that was 65 pgs. there were about 12 but most were less than 40pgs some only 10pgs. next i read all of my 'just in' email and took a break to take my car to the carwash, came back, read the last download and ate meatloaf, cauliflower and mom's baked beans. next emptied the dw and put the blanket that i washed in the dryer and went back to bed.

Today I have to wait for the woman to pick up the furniture, so I will be home most of the day.

Laura's BF came over last night and helped me hang the mirror. I put it in the DR. Got the kitchen all cleaned up last night. The house is looking good lately. Today just vacuum and wash the floors.

Need to work on my P/L statement for the acc't, I guess I will have to do that this morning. It's going to be nice out, would like to get some leaves done in the front yard. I use to do the whole yard in two days, but I'm getting older or the yard is getting bigger, ROFL!

Too funny WL! I think the yard is growing...don't give in to getting older.

Mary:
Those are long downloads! I get too antsy sitting that long!
Good for you.

Just finished another beaded ornament yesterday. Had leftovers from lunch for dinner, and did nothing after dinner.

Diana - I use a steam iron at the moment. I will probably get a hand held steamer later on, as they make very quick work of things.

Iv done the mountain of ironing this morning, so I've got the rubbish, recycling etc still to do today and that doesnt take long.

Getting some stuff done around the house this morning.
Folded 2 loads of laundry, threw another in the wash, put some clean dishes away, made french toast for DS. Put a box aside for DS' clothes in bigger size to be put away and another box for his outgrown shoes.

Have been thinking about what to cook/make and just need to do it. Have a pantry and freezer full of stuff we need to use up. Cloudy morning here...may go on a bike ride if it warms up. Hope to post more productivity later!

Well I did it, I got accepted in the program! Thank you all for your support! If I'm lucky (as in, do the work on time and get high enough grades) next year I'll graduate! I'm waiting for May 2sd on which date I'll learn how many projects I'll have to turn in. Woke up this morning feeling different, very proud of myself.

I worked on my finances, first months are done I'm ready for the monthly upkeep on the budget. I did one hour of dvd exercises. I cleaned the door frames, doors and dusted the light fixtures. I watered the plants; I love gardening but live in an apartment. Every spring I get the urge to buy indoor plants! Got 2 new ones but feel like I want more!

Have to make another batch of chili and cook my pork chops, have been too busy stressing over this interview and doing the minimum, don't want to waste food! Then shower and leave for work. Great sunny day, plan to finish cleaning the backyard at work, with the kids, before supper and enjoy the outside. Then it's movie night, hope all goes well!
