The other posting was getting too long. Starting up another one.

Carol:
Glad to hear you take the pill case with you. Smart gal.
Good going on the babystep in the office.
DDs dress and outfit sounds great and like you said she can wear them again. Good shopping gals!

Lynnie:
I have two pill cases myself. One for vitamins in the kitchen and one in the bedroom for night time pills.
Yes, good the place you work is a happy place....sometimes it isn't that fun.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Never got back on here after the ladies left. Had a pretty fun time with them, we just sit around and laugh and discuss world problems and how to solve them. LOL
House all picked up and good thing, I have something to do each and every day for the next week! It is either feast or famine in my life lately!
Hey ladies, I am going to try to do a few little baby steps on some items on my list this weekend. Trying not to feel overwhelmed. I haven't had as much energy as I would like this week.
WTG on finding a dress, Carol, it sounds cute. Pictures later??
WTG on the pill cases Lynnie. I use one for my vitamins too and it really helps.
@ Carol- I wore decorated tennis shoes to my wedding reception. I had my friends kids come a week before the wedding and we glued on all kinds of beads. I wrote the date on one shoe and ny new name on the other. Everyone thought it was a hoot. I just tossed them after 9 years... Hope your DD has fun with the shoes.
I curled DD's hair this morning for a trial run. It's cute, but the curls didn't stay so we're going to go back to the old tried-and-true method of sponge curlers. They are the only thing that seem to work on her hair. She also tried on the whole outfit. It's cute! But, she has some sort of sensory problem and the lacy socks were an issue driving her crazy on her feet so she won't be wearing those (she had the same issue as a little toddler and apparantly hasn't outgrown that). She is opting for another pair of no-show socks that she already has. I, personally, think the ribbon that she picked out isn't wide enough and would like to make a sash out of some black satin fabric that I have, but she won't hear of it. She likes the ribbon and there is no talking her out of it. I choose to save my battles for the more important issues so if she's happy with the ribbon then that's fine. It looks good. I just think it would be better if it were wider.
The weather here is still yucky. Not raining or snowing, just cloudy and cold. So...we were able to take the large folding tables outside and set them up behind the privacy screen thing and blocking the slider leading to DD's room. I covered it with a nice looking tarp which will also be covered with a more decorative weatherproof tablecloth later and we will be putting some of our painted pots with flowers on top of it so it will all look nice. I'm using the area underneath the table to store things like the large ice chest and water bottles to take to recycling. I'll also keep the gardening tools and potting soil under there all covered up as well. We aren't allowed to have anything outside that looks bad according to the condo rules so I think I've come up with a very nice workable solution to store those outside things that I don't want cluttering up the inside and taking up valuable space. I have about six more pots to paint and then just waiting on the weather to get nice enough to plant our flowers for the spring/summer season.
I had DD help me move the armoire/dresser out of the bedroom and put it on the angled wall in the hallway. She also helped me move the bed over slightly. I have two side tables from the living room that actually match my sleigh bed very nicely so I am moving those into the bedroom to use as bedside tables for lamps. I only have one lamp so I'll have to be on the hunt for another one. I actually think it would be kind of neat to go to the Habitat for Humanity Restore and get some old shutters and put them behind the bedside tables as added decor. That will be a project for a little further down the line though. Maybe this summer. It's all a work in progress right now. I'm getting there...
Love that you did that for your wedding!
Carol:
Definitely are getting there. You come up with such clever ideas all the time. You find a Necessity and you come thru with ideas! Outstanding.
Yep, easier to pick battles. Glad DD is happy.
Mary:
Sorry about your list but it happens when the thread gets too long.
Had a lovely lunch with my needlefelting friends. Enough left over for me to have for dinner.
Made another beaded ornament. Resting tonight.
Carol - I am so glad R was able to reach you with a message about his DM. Very comforting to you I am sure. The dress sounds lovely and I second Tina's request for a photo on here of the whole outfit. The apartment sounds like it is going well, and is becoming a home now for you and DD.
Tina - Good luck with the list and those baby steps.
Not much to report here the windows are all cleaned on the inside, but it is too cold to stand and do the outside ones or any gardening.
Diana we have had a lot of rain here, then one really warm sunny day and then a few frosty mornings and cold days. Very strange crazy
It did warm up here a little so I was able to start the second row of paving slabs in the front garden and do a little weeding. I love being outside, but I had to concede after an hour, as when the wind blew it was bitterly cold.
