I accomplished a lot in the master bedroom today (branch work see thread) and I also cleaned the inside windows in DS's room.

For the rest of the day we are having a home day as DH is off work until Wednesday. We are spending time together playing with DS, watching movies etc. Enjoy the rest of your Easter break everyone!

Must be true WL. My DD said something too about how nice and clean and fresh my home looked! YEA for us.

I agree with Karen, on the 30th a big Happy dance with the GONers!

Have nothing to report took the day off. Did my spiffying on Friday, and a little more on Sat., took Easter Sunday off.

Spent this morning putting up the furniture on CraigsList. Already had a call and someone just left looking at the LR set.

Wanted to know if I would deliver it too, since she saw my pickup truck. Unfortunately she lives a little too far for my "baby" to carry a heavy load. Have to coddle my little Ford Ranger, it's almost hitting 300,000 miles. Yep, you read that right!!

So windy here today again. Everything blew off the deck, including another window box full of dirt!! That has never happened before since I lived here except for two weeks ago.

Not walking Finn, too many broken branches hanging on the trail. Had a large limb fall in my front yard today too.

i slept from 1am til 240pm and yet i STILL feel tired!

i vac'd the mbr, then went to the base for cigs. came home, took a bath and mowed the forest of my legs, then did the daily routine. i read my 75 email for mon, then ate a sandwich for dinner.

Diana - Yes I will be very careful, I hate heights so Im overly cautious.

Fleur - I hope you feel better soon. I have both Dust Mites and grass allergies, so I know what you mean.

I completely blitzed the sitting room today. Iv not done a Spring clean but it wasnt far from it. I kept on getting the Doris Day song ' a womens touch' ringing out in my ears.

I've had a discussion with Dad about what he can do to help around the house but he totally refuses to do anything he feels aren't necessary. This includes, dusting tidying, cleaning out cupboards etc. He basically wants to do the washing (just load it and unload), do the same with the dishwasher, a little ironing, fetching the papers/dog walk and some supervised cooking. Everything else is superficial so he wont do it. Ho Hum! My brother refuses to do anything as his at work all day - he wont even take his dishes out after eatting. I think I need a holiday for a few weeks and leave them too it dont you!

So far I have had a decent response to Craig's List for the furniture. Let's see if the people show up, that seems to be the biggest complaint around here.

I also emailed a local high end consignment shop about a set of china and mom's ultra modern glass DR table, they offered to take it. Now, have to pack it all up and get it there, but DGF is coming down for a few days, and I will put her to work again!!

Did some PUPA in the office, also did some ebay. Had leftovers for dinner. Made a shopping list for DGF's visit, hope to go shopping on the way home today and stop at the bread thrift store and pick up some rolls, etc. Would also like to make stuffed cabbage, I'll see how much time I actually have.

Planning on a trip to the Lab today, so will try to get out of here early.

Purdy, why don't you come here for a visit! We'd surely have a great time and your dad and brother could have some time to discover their thankfulness of all you do for them. Not to burst your bubble, but I'd hate to see what the house would look like when you return. But still I wouldn't let that hamper you in getting away. Maybe it's time for a much needed wake up call!! Hang in there!

Waterlady, so glad you're getting some response for the furniture and things! That's great!

Had a bit of slump that I desperately needed to work through yesterday. Another "Woe-is-me" pity party. My good friend, Linda, shared some wisdom and it resonated in my mind throughout the day. Did get quite a bit of grading done, even some correcting with the girls. Now, if I can keep this up!

We're getting off to a good start this morning. Workout, breakfast, devotions, one chore, now girls are getting started on schooling while I catch up with you. For me, I'm going to tidy up a bit more, chat with Linda, then we'll be heading out to get some groceries.

A young guy from church will be coming home with DH, as he's going to try to help us fix our desktop. Apparently our power went out Sunday night and did something to our computer. Now it will reboot after only being on for a few minutes. UGH! We didn't need that!! Thankfully I have DH's laptop to keep up with the online things!

Hope you all have a great day!
Cya!

i listened to a 1 1/2 hr download and then another show on here while planning how to reorganize my room. i've decided to move a couple things to the lr and i'm planning for how to use the corner where my small dr table sits after gw picks up the 1 in the dr. then, i moved 3 dressers, 2 table, a stereo and 20 boxes, and went to bed b/c jay was supposed to come to help w a bj's run.

he was a 'no show' so i carried in 3 36 paks of pepsi, 3 1/2 gal of half and half, a lg bottle of woolite, the 8 pak of corn and an assorted box. sure got my exercise today. it started sprinkling went i left, but it felt good b/c it was warm out.

i listened to a webinar on here while waiting for jay and read my 75 juno email. i listened to another show after jay finally called at 845. also today i did a daily routine, emptied the dw and washed 2 loads of towels.

Hi ladies! I haven't caught up on the whole thread yet, will do so later. But you are all looking productive!

DD is off school this week (and Monday of next week too) and I'm finding it difficult to get to the branch work. I need to get a grip on this (and get her used to it too) otherwise the long summer holidays are going to be a problem!

Had a great Easter weekend, I am keeping the kitchen tidy and tidied the main lounge yesterday so need to keep that up. Also on the hitlist is a good clean of the bathrooms and a bit of shopping.

Have a good day!
