I went to the Dollar Tree a while ago and picked up this nifty pill reminder. It's box-shaped and has 7 little slots and within the slots are these removable pill boxes with 4 sections -- breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper. I bought 4 of them, one for each week in the month. That way I can have all my vitamins together. For my meds, I bought a daily pill reminder which I will keep on the night-table, not in the drawer. :-(
Carol, I like your 15 minute timer session. I tend to look at the whole picture instead of parts of it -- "baby steps", right Diana? Since my list is a bit long I'll pick one, perhaps two things I can do in 15 minutes and see what I get accomplished.
Diana, I do work at a fun place -- it's a law firm but who says lawyers can't have fun, right?
Oh, Mary I'm glad your mouse hole has been filled! I could tell you stories about mice invasions that would make your skin crawl!! What did your friend use? When I had the problem I used steel wool and "Stiff Stuff".
Lynnie

April Goals
Health -Call doctor about change in meds -Review ballet workout DVD's and put together a workout program for myself -Start (again!) taking vitamins -put reminders on my iPhone to take meds and vitamins daily Also bought pill organizers -make appointments for mammo, OB-GYN, dentist (bleh!!!)
House -write-up Master Lists for each room in the house -go through boxes in garage and take out items and set aside for Goodwill pick-up -alphabetize DVD's in bedroom and move to library shelves -finish last 2 loads of laundry -make up housework schedule (this is in progress). Made a complete list of all household chores, etc. that I need to do. Now, just have to put them into a doable schedule. Making up this schedule is proving to be a bit of a challenge since I now have a dog and I want to fit a serious workout (weightlifting, etc.) in somewhere. I can't work out at lunchtime because I don't start work until 1:00 p.m. and don't take a "lunch break" until almost 4:00. Hmmmm...
Interests -Mail vendors contracts and checks to Nancy for Zeta event -mail birthday cards and check to church for Easter lilies -upload photos to miniatures club web site -finish finalizing miniatures club minutes and email them -Put away supplies from last miniature project -continue with miniature magazines index spreadsheet (ongoing) -start miniature commission job (4 miniature bonnets for customer)
Personal -take clothes to dry cleaners -mail box of yarns to my mother only got as far as taping up the box because I ran out of packing tape. Will have to run to the store to get more. -mail baby booties and hats to Zeta March of Dimes coordinator -mail check for state taxes (due by April 30) -check P.O. Box for Zeta mail

Mission accomplished! Houston...we have a dress!
We found the perfect dress.(Well, almost perfect - DD said that if it was yellow, then it would be perfect.) Anywhoo, it's a very classic style with a fitted bodice, sleeveless and a flared, short skirt. It kind of reminds me of Audrey Hepburn. It is a floral print with white, black, purple, coral - sounds awful, but it's really pretty. Unlike most of the "prom" dresses, it is a very modest cut (because it ISN'T a prom dress). It has a higher neckline so DD won't have to worry about her more-than-ample bossom falling out, and it's knee-length so she doesn't have to worry about her underwear showing when she sits down (her words). And, fortunately, it did not cost a small fortune either. We also got a cute little short sleeve black open front cardigan for the chilly evening (it snowed here today). She has a pair of black tennis shoes with purple accents that we got a couple weekends ago on a super sale. Picked up some little short black socks with lace (like the little girls wear), a wonderful necklace and some earrings. Oh, and we got some ribbon at the craft store to make a sash for the waist. I can't wait for her to put it all one together because I think it's going to be wonderful for her. Not too frilly and just quirky enough to be "her". And, she will be able to wear everything again so it's not a one-shot deal which I am thankful for with our limited budget.

Good going Lynnie on the pill cases. I have two pill containers also, one in the kitchen for my vitamins, and one in the bedroom for my night time meds. Works out good for me, rarely do I miss any vitamins or meds.
Unfortunately I have to close this up and started a new thread to continue on our goals.
Great going ladies, we rock!!!!
