Carol - You are doing so well

Tina - that is some list good luck

Lynnie - Welcome back I think I was a "lurker" when you were posting so it is good to see people I read about then returning.

So far this month is going well. I even cleaned some windows, and those who do branches may of noticed I regularly find excuses not to do this. I usually blame it on the weather after all I am English laugh

The major change I have done to help my productivity and time management is to come off face book, and it has been a revelation. I am so much more relaxed not reading all the woes and arguments on there.Sometimes knowledge is not power it is a headache lol

*Communication assignment to be done for 19th - rough notes done just needs to be typed up.

Friends
*Weekly meeting with the girls - catching up with them individually as to have them here would mean 10 children too err no thanks I am on holiday from school wink
*One of my friends son's birthday on 3rd need sort gift and card
*One of my friends son's birthday on 8th need sort gift and card

House
*All the windows need cleaning - inside windows done in both bedrooms and the kitchen so far.

Karen, thank you for the welcome back! I used to be a lurker years ago but saw how much fun everyone was having getting organized, and all the neat tips and products that Maria provided that I had to join in! I fell off the wagon a few times but I just keep coming back!

Oh, I forgot to add this item to my goals:
-go through 4 boxes of items belonging to a loved one who passed away a year ago. I am happy to say that I completed this project this afternoon and have plenty of usable stuff for the Goodwill to pick up. This time around I didn't do one of those 'I might need that one day.' If I had no real use for the item I just left it in the box for someone who can really use it. My goal is not to add stuff especially since I'm working hard to get rid of things I have not used.

Tina:
Better on paper where you can pick and choose to do babysteps on some of the items listed.

Tina...I had to giggle a little that you just threw that little tidbit of "find a new job" in with the paperwork. wink

Lynnie...Hi! I remember you too! Welcome back! smile

I'm moving right along on my April Goals list (so funny, I just made a typo and put "Goat" list...oh my! shocked crazy )

DD and I just finished hanging curtains in her bedroom. So much better than the hideous army green lovelies that the condo owner had hanging in there. Tomorrow, we are going into the city and will pick up some sort of coordinating fabric (probably a sheet for maximum yardage for least money). We need that to cover the table of boxes.

We also put the first coat of paint on the pots. One of them we did with stripes and I must say...I HATE IT! It was my idea and it was NOT a good one. Both, DD and I shrieked, "It looks like a circus." So glad it's just paint on a pot and can easily be repainted. The others are fine with the solid color. Just waiting for that to dry and will accent each with white polka dots to tie them all together.

Also, printed and corrected all of DD's schoolwork. I'm on Spring Break, but she is not. Crazy! She had Spring Break from college last week and then Spring Break from Charter School this week so the poor girl actually gets no Spring Break at all.

I also finished up my Pioneer book yesterday so I stopped by the library this morning and picked up 2 more "just for fun" books to read. Got to have my "me" time per kind instructions from a fellow GONer looking out for me. smile

Lynnie!
WELCOME BACK. Glad you decided to jump in and join us again!
Missed your posting earlier.

Yes, giving things up gets easier the longer you are a GONer!

Carol:
Sounds like you and DD are making great strides on the flower pots. Keep up the good work. Does DD have school thru Summer too? Hope you find the sheets you like. They are a great source of decorating material, you are right!

Tina:
I missed that!

Mary:
Great going as usual.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hoping to finish the two craft kits I have been working on.
