Printed out some patterns this morning, met with my DGFs for lunch, church , and then came home to finish up my beaded ornament. It only took one day on this one! YEA~

DS and DDIL brought over more lilacs for me. Smell so great in the house.

-finish laundry (finish drying, fold, and put away)

Having stomach problems and also computer problems today!
Doing laundry and taking down the Easter decorations, and resting in between. Didn't go on the trip, was afraid I might get ill on the bus and ruin it for everyone.

So my list is just
Laundry
and Putting decorations away.

Bless, that is quite a commitment, being on Jury duty. I hope it doesn't last too long. At least all your experience will be helpful.

We are in the middle of a power outage, but fortunately I had put some beef and veggies in the crockpot this morning and they were well done by the time the power went off and kept warm enough in there so we could eat not too long after.

This morning I phoned DSF in England. He didn't stay on for long, for a change, as he says now his hand aches when he holds the phone. I wish he would make the decision to move to a flat with a warden, so that he would have people around more often. He is struggling but still stubborn, and the longer he leaves it, the harder it is for him. It's his decision to stay, but I think he might have to move sooner or later, like it or not as he is just too tired. I think I may call more frequently for shorter times.

Went to church (Monday commitment) with my friend.

DH and I are still cleaning up the maple supplies, a bit at a time. The discarded pails are on the roadside for the recycle van or anyone who takes a fancy to them.

Remaining JDI for today:
Run dishwasher when power returns
Launder sheets that I took off the bed this morning
Make up bed with the clean set before we need to get in it!

Thanks ladies, I felt better this morning, but was afraid to wonder too far from home, if you know what I mean. I was okay all day, but you never know when you are out.

Got the laundry done, and the decorations down an repacked.
Just need to remove the bunny from the front porch bench.
Been ETEing and picking in the craft room.

Diana, sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Hope you continue to recover. But good decision to stay close to home.
