Bushlady - Congrats on getting DH to part with the pails

Tina - Good luck updating your goals I am in the process of doing that. I however do not have as many deadlines as you luckily. Diana is right teachers are very special people.

Diana - I read on another thread some of the things you managed to do while your family was visiting. So glad you had a good time.

Carol - Sounds like you are still busy putting your stamp on the new place good luck smile

Well as you can see I am back from holiday. 2/3 of the laundry has been done and I am just pottering and catching up on here. I will be back later with an updated goals list.

Hoping your holiday was wonderful and you were able to rest and relax.

Yes, we had a fabulous time last weekend. I did find something the boys left behind. We have a running joke about what I have sent back over the years: shoes, keys, etc.

Have a class today, but want to go downstairs and start planning my stuff to sell. Can't hurt to try it once, and if I don't want to pick up the items they will donate them to a charity.

Not having to cook either way is good, in my book.

You are really catching up on your reading!

@mary57 - I am enjoying reading your posts again. I am inspired by you. I tend to make a list a mile long on the weekends and then on Sunday night I sit with half of it left. When I read your posts, I realize I need more baby steps in my life because then I could get to the point where you are. A few things each day and you can enjoy yourself the rest of the time.

DH and I burned the pile of dried grass and landscape clipping in the garden today. First day it is not windy. We had the yard thatched on Monday and the grass is the greenest I have ever seen it. It was so worth the money. Thatching is a lot of work when you do it by hand. DH will need to mow this week.
We are a month ahead of the season.

DH has a partial bowel obstruction (I know TMI). I am worried he will end up with an ileus again. I actually have a list of things to bring to the hospital just in case. We are hoping he is feeling better in a few days.

DH ordered a new computer for me and it came yesterday. We ordered an easy tranfer cable to make file tranferring easier. I hope to have it up and running by April 5th. I have some PTO time and would like to spend a half day getting to know Windows 7.

I listed our old china cabinet on craigslist today. Going to give it away. It needs a lot of work and we do not use it anymore. Someone is coming over in a few minutes to take it. I had 6 people contact me in the last 20 minutes. I removed everything and carried it to the porch. It is very light compared to the new ones today. Glad to have it go to someone that will use it.
