Girls and I are really getting at things today.
-DD#1 and I have been putting the laundry out on the line. We're on load #3 and only have one more to go for today!!
-I baked 4 loaves of bread.
-Both girls have taken it upon themselves to sort through their clothes. LOVE THAT!
-I started the dishes and need to get back to it. (Lunch and rest break were greatly needed!)

BTW, all you ladies are doing a FABULOUS JOB!!!! Keep up the great work! Cya!

Diana, wish you lived closer too, could always use another food "tester" ROFL!

We both love to cook and all the neighbors know it and tease us all the time. "What's for dinner tonight girls?" ROFL.

Bubblegum, we use to put apricot jam on top of the brie with slivered almonds and then wrap the phyllo dough or sometimes crescent roll wrap it. I have also warmed brie and put it on top of hot pasta and let it melt, yum. Some sundried tomatoes too with it.

Couldn't sleep, was up early and DGF called and wanted to go to Costco this morning. I am almost out of dog food so had to go this week anyway. We had a nice day of shopping then to Home Depot for a few things. Had fast food lunch, got cigarettes (in NJ), she saved over $40/carton!!!! Gas was 45 cents cheaper too.

It's terribly windy here, came home, several things blew off the deck and broke :(, going into the teens tonight, so have to bring in some of the flowerboxes.

Got some work calls today (PTL).

Glad to hear you got so much completed today.

Waterlady:
Quite a savings on the gas and cigarettes! That is outrageous the price of cigarettes!

Sorry about the items that broke falling off the deck.

Finished up two beaded items, and will be working on embroidery tonight. Almost finished with that project too.

Cleaned out the closet in the guest room and got the bedspread put into the linen closet. Want to clean under the bed and do the windows on Wed.

Diana, not being so hard on myself is what the psych doc says, don't worry, it's making its way to my brain slowly but surely wink Part of the motivation to go back to school is moving forward with my life.

Brie was great! I made it with sliced apples, pecans, brown sugar and maple syrup, Mmmmm! We had it for dessert, even better than cake!

Change of plans for today, went with DD to the DMV, oh boy can't figure out people you hate dealing with customers when it's part of their jobs! That woman did not want to help us. I got home made a call and all the information WAS in the computer, we had waited over 45min! Now I have to go back, bet you I'll go to a different place. Then I went to get a paper validating my work place and actual days of work. Afterwards we went to the mall; I had to exchange a pair of shoes and ended up with 3 items of clothing also.

Came home and wanted DD to help me to look at my college inscription papers, did that for an hour. I'm feeling anxious as the final date is approaching and I'm not all done. I still have phone calls to make and possibly getting another paper, then going into the city to the college before Friday. I made a list of last minute details; will have to call tomorrow morning while at work and possibly deal with going into Montreal after work. I hate having deadlines and I'm going back to school, go figure.

Plus I seem to have misplaced all my papers when I interviewed for my current job, had to make up a new CV and cannot find the original papers to my last job, only a photocopy, hope it will do. Stress more stress I can do without! Rewrote my CV and then went to play games on the pc to get me calmed down a bit, stopped trying to make it perfect.

Didn't see my friend after all, she's been injured at work. Hate when that happens; hope all the kids are okay when I go back tomorrow... I only had to nuke my supper, was so not up to cooking, thank heaven I had the good idea to batch cook this weekend. I get up at 5:30 in the morning and I need to get breakfast, clothing and list for calls ready or else I'll forget something. Will watch a show and then off to bed. Pray for serenity to come over me, I'll need it for the coming week.

Finally can head to bed! My dishes are done!! LOL It was just bugging me and I didn't want to go to co-op tomorrow with my counters full of dirty dishes. (Yep, I said counterS!) Too busy this weekend to keep up, then add pancake making stuff and bread making stuff from today and it was crazy! But in the morning I can put it all away and have clean counters again! Yipee! Plus, DD#1 and I did 4 loads of laundry today, using the clothesline to dry them all!! Feeling pretty pioneerish if you ask me! (Yep, "pioneerish" is a word! I just made it up!!) Nite all!

Hoping you find the papers you need. Also sorry about your trouble at the DMV. I swear they hire only people who have attitudes some places! LOL

Your brie sounded wonderful!

Mary:
Busy bee as usual. That is a lot of reading. I can do about 20 usually before I give up!

Wendy:
WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO and ATTA Girl! Usually I fill my sink with soapy water when I am baking so the stuff doesn't stick on ,and can just give a wipe or two as I go. I actually try and get away with only using one bowl when I bake (it doesn't always work out, but I try! LOL). Could you get the girls to wash as you go? When I was little I had to wash the dishes,(it was my job) and I would "demonstrate" how to wash dishes to imaginary audiences! LOL

That was a lot of laundry and hanging out. Smell so good when you bring them in!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finished up two small beaded ornaments and half of a placemat and napkin set yesterday. More today hopefully.
Diana: I usually have the girls do the dishes when it's their turn to be kitchen helper, but it's DD#2's turn and she just can't keep up with everything. She was trying to get her schoolwork done as well as sort through clothes.
Well, I'd better go get ready for the day! Cya!
Woke up early this am. and took an hr. to copy/paste pictures from SD card to computer's hard drive. Also uploaded pics to an album and sent out. Have 4 or 5 other albums that need to be made and sent out.
Have been doing searches for airline fares for upcoming trip. Found some good deals, put in request for time off from work, and just waiting to hear back.
House is a disaster..hopefully can work on it during DS' nap today. Headed to work for several appreciation lunches and bringing the LO with me. Have a time set to scope out pre-garage sale this evening and then have dinner/playdate with friend and her DS.
Dinaro, no idea on kitchen color. Will need to take some pics and upload to a few sites for feedback.
Hi all - just a quick post to say that my DD has chickenpox so my productivity will be limited this week. I'll catch up with you all soon!
