Got my car decluttered and cleaned out yesterday. Had fun time at girls night. Found a few paint colors online for the kitchen.
Washed dirty dishes and cleaned kitchen countertops, made breakfast. Its beautiful outside but full of pollen. It is killing me to be inside! Just took some allergy meds and may attempt to go outside, take DS to the playground.

Fantastic news all round Purdy! Fingers crossed you get in for the June start. Well I have sorted through my jewellary box and decluttered it, organized the media cabinet and decluttered it AND weeded the front garden. I also put two more paving slabs down and picked up all the cat poop. Next doors kitties think my gravel is an extra large litter tray. It is a good job they are so cute and let me fuss them We also took DS to the huge park in the south of the city where he rode his bike (for the first time!) and fed the ducks and geese.

Wow! Good news all around! So motivating!!
Well I'm beat, yesterday I wrote for 3 hours straight, that was though. Interview (and this is the big decision part) is April 14. 2 weeks to review books and ask the girls at work lots of questions! I've been talking about it so much now I'm afraid I won't get it! Positive thoughts! I worked last evening and was back at the job this morning; 6th day in a row. Should be cleaning, but I just want to sit. DD is coming over for supper (making salad with apples, nuts and cheese.)
Tomorrow I get off! yay, will sleep until 10 at least and then get the place back in shape; haven't cleaned since Thursday. I'm meeting a GF in the evening, she's been injured at work last weekend and I haven't seen her yet, will try and cheer her up.
Time to PUPA and that's it for tonight!

Wow! Everyone is really getting stuff done! Yeah!!
Pretty good weekend - yesterday did some work in the house because it was cold and gloomy here. Made dog treats and some apple crisp for the humans.
Today ended up outside, planned on working on the flower bed we tore out, but it was too wet. But, did get our fruit trees pruned and I limbed up some pines. Really hoping for a good year and get some apples and peaches that I can can or freeze.
I had put some bbq chicken in the crockpot so I wouldn't have to worry about dinner. Did a double batch so I could freeze for another meal.
Hope everyone had a good weekend - can NOT believe it is over!
Here's to a productive and non-stress filled week for everyone!!

purdy, good news
wl, i feel sorry for you working out there in the cold. bet that soup warmed you up tho
great going everyone else!
1 had a bad headache last night, so i went to bed at 7pm. dinner was great and we both ate everything but the plate <lol>. he had a sizzling chicken and shrimp dish (it think it may have been bourbon chicken) and fries. there were mushrooms and onions in it too. i had steak, mashed potatoes and brocolli. when i got up at 11pm, i read for an hr, listened to a show on here, got down a new book and put up the knee socks that were in the wash when i got down my spring/summer socks. i did some budget work, got ready to go grocery shopping and got on here til 7am when the store opens. i had both good luck and bad at the grocery store. several of the things i needed anyway were on sale (even some of the things i had coupons for). i was careful not to drop the pringles, but then as i locked my car i accidentally dropped the bag w the eggs :o(. at least they didn't get on anything that matters. i got everything put away, fixed a blt and went back to bed at 830am.
i got up again at 8pm and dusted the k, then did the dailies and got on here b/c they went so quick. mary

Finally able to get things done, Friday's routine completed by early Saturday morning had beds stripped and changed, bthrms scrubbed, dusting/polishing woodwork & furniture, vacuuming.
Reviewed finances for 1st quarter which confirmed every line items was either over or under planned expenses. I've prepared anticipated cash flow for the next quarter and hope I'm more realistic.
A friend is away visiting family in UK. Since I offered to look out for her husband, we had invited him for Sunday dinner. He called early this AM explaining he would be working today so we shifted the dinner date to tomorrow. Menu will be adjusted for Italian salad, lasagna with meatballs & ice cream.
I hope that make ahead dinner will allow me to complete Monday's routine as there is so much work to do! There are several items needing repair, the laundry baskets are full, even dog's toy bin needs clearing out. Every flat surface, shelf, drawer, cupboard needs attention. I'd like to change out the entry closet, storing winter coats, jackets, down vests, scarves, hats, gloves etc. DH managed to access fleece jackets, hats from the big, basement wardrobe.
There is so much catch up, it makes me dizzy to think it through.

Great job of productivity everyone! Hard to believe but we are in a new month, so I'll start a new thread for us. See you all in the April thread!
