I did relax Bonnie I even took a nap smile

Yesterday was busy though my brother was admitted to hospital so I visited him. He has stomach pains and they have ruled out his appendix, but are doing more tests. I was in school in the afternoon too.

Today I have spoken to my brother who is waiting for the doctor to come round to discuss test results. I have also spoken to my dad and been to college.

I am back home for a short while, then I am off to pick DS up, attend a chiropractors appointment and visit my granddad.

After today it is Easter break so I will be home a lot more and hopefully I will be able to balance productivity, DS and some college work with some relaxation.

Hi All:

Sorry for not being around but had a crazy week.

Saturday we had our final appointment with the tax person - Done!

Stopped on the way home to look at refrigerators and ending up getting one!
Yes! I was so excited. I had managed to squirrel half of the amount and our taxes made up the difference so we went for it. They delivered it SUNDAY!

Well, that thew me into a cleaning frenzy Saturday afternoon and making way to get it in the house. Ended up cleaning out some of the garage (which was on my list anyway) and transferring the freezer items to the big freezer. All went well and I finally have a new frig that is beautiful and everything matches in the kitchen now. Still looks funny when you walk in the kitchen! Best part - no additional money out of pocket!

Worked a long day Monday and Tuesday I had to go for the first appointment for a crown. I cracked a back tooth - oh joy. I usually don't have a problem but it was a back tooth and I forgot when I was young they were really sensitive and they had put a coating on the tooth. They gave me four shots and I could still feel the drill. Needless to say I was hitting the ceiling. By the time I got out of there my nerves were shot. When I wrote the check on the way out it looked like a child with a crayon wrote it. I had to laugh - I could not write my hands were shaking so bad. I was almost embarrassed because I can usually suck it up. I took some advil and was still rough yesterday but feeling normal today.

Today I hope to catch up on the house. I did get all the laundry done yesterday and some cooking. I need to plan meals for all next week because I will be pulling a lot of hours next week and I want to get my grocery shopping done after work tomorrow.

Hope to finish the flowerbed project this weekend if the weather holds out.

Sounds like everyone is moving right along. Keep up the good work!!

Good going Mary. Love when things just move along so nicely.
Are you caught up yet? I am a little behind in my email reading, so I should take a lesson from you and do a few each time.

I managed to get some paperwork done yesterday morning. Did some filing and tossing. Got the kitchen counter cleared before the pile starts growing there again.

Cooked my dinner in the morning while on the phone. I knew if I got home late I wouldn't bother to cook. Got in around 6 and just warmed everything up.

Have to get to the bank today and hopefully get some appointments made.

Well,so far I have cleaned, organized, and gathered things in the loft for a yard sale. So it is almost done and I am happy with it. At least it is more manageable. I got my master bedroom clean as well as organized the master closet. The kitchen is over half done. My computer homework is done thank God! And our lawn is looking pretty good. If I could only get the front flower beds done, then it will look much better. I have also lost 8 lbs. since about 7 days ago. Hopefully, if I can keep this up, I think a lot of my spring to do list will be actually done.

Pretty good catch up day - got the house cleaned, finished ironing, cleaned bathrooms, did a stack of paperwork, paid bills and feel like I can breathe again.

Tonight I am going to meal plan for the next week so I can grab groceries after work along with a stop for dog food.

Man I feel so much better when I have things done - peaceful!

Where to start: You are cranking and congrats on the 8 lbs!!

WL: I have that same kitchen counter - sneaky aren't they..I swear little night trolls come in and leave piles!!

Great going everyone!! So nice to hear all of the hard work you're doing!

Today I: did the dishes, swept the K. floor, helped DDs with schoolwork, Skyped with Linda, finished Bible study questions, helped DD#1 with laundry, ran while family biked, and tidied up a bit.

Was so pumped about my run. Yesterday I ran/walked 1 mile in 13:17. Tonight I decided to run 1 mile out and run/walk the mile back. I did the mile out in 10:16!!! I couldn't believe I knocked off 3 minutes! I did take a bit longer than yesterday's run to come back, but I had a cramp in my side and it was making it difficult.

I'm just so thankful to the Lord for being able to run! I am so not a runner! But I'm still going to try!

Hope you have a great night!!

about 11 pm i ate the last of the pizza. i stayed on here til 1130 reading the last of the 'just in's' then listened to a show on here. after that i listened to both sides of a motivational tape and read for about 30 min. i think i finally went to bed about 4am after eating more bbq and slaw.

thu i had the alarm set for 1030, but i woke at 10. i did my morning coffee and cigs, got cleaned up and left to go to my therapist's. that took over 2 hrs b/c we allowed 45 min driving time. i did the dailies when i got home inc paying a bill, washed my sheets, ran/emptied the dw and made a salad. jay came over. then on here.

I finally got outside yesterday and picked up the debris from the wind on Monday. It was gusting again pretty bad, had to weigh some things down.

It's very dry here, the soil is like dust. Finn went out and must have been rolling in it, he came in a brown dog! I tried to brush most of it out, but will have to run the vacuum again this morning.

Have some work this morning, and have to find my plumber for another job.

Sounds like you had a super busy day Mary. Good going on doing your dailies also!

After lunch with inloves I decided to go pick up this yarn to make scarfs,so headed out and picked up some other yarn for another pattern I had seen. Loved the colors in the yarn for a scarf for summer. Also requested a pattern for some pot holders from a gal hoping she will bring it today when we meet for a craft teaching I am giving them. By the time I returned home, I was tired. Just vegged!

DB called and invited all of us to his house for Easter dinner, after consulting with my DS an DDIL, we switched out from my house to his! I will add to the dinner when he decides on the menu.
