Hope everyone is doing well. Feel better Bless.

Haven't been on much this week. Haven't done much outside of school (getting ready for Spring Break and report card day tomorrow frown and my house really shows it. At least I have a couple days before leaving to clean it up).

Today's JDI's:
-make a detailed to-do list for the next few days
-shopping list
-post office
-file report cards while at school

-check on 2 appts that I need confirmed
-pay bill
-dishes

Well, the dentist did his best, but the x-rays showed nothing significant and as the pain is intermittent and migrating continually between 3 teeth, it was impossible to pinpoint the exact tooth. All his tests were inconclusive. So I am to go back when the pain reveals which tooth is involved. I'm making notes when it comes strongly. I have OTCs for pain relief. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Meanwhile I am now favouring one tooth in particular for the culprit.

I have UFP group today. Today is also Gypsy's 11th birthday!

Routines and ETEing
Prepare desserts
Make tea/coffee
Take out dishes set buffet up
Clean up after
Crafting (doing embroidery today)

If I am not too tired this afternoon, I will return a blouse and slacks I purchased that I don't like how they look, and a couple of errands. Maybe I should do that this morning before they come. House is done and then it will be off my mind....think I will do that.

Happy birthday to Gypsy! Hope she gets a special doggy treat!

I'm headed out to the dentist soon as I now know which tooth is the problem and have a new appointment. Yesterday the dentist looked over my medical history form that I had just updated, and made a comment about the Fosamax and Actonel that I had taken for bone density improvement but given up about 5 years ago. It seems there is a rare problem for some people when they have extractions if they have taken either of these alendronate drugs, so I'm writing this to alert other GONers.

I googled the subject and found out that the risk is of osteonecrosis of the jaw!

Yikes! That doesn't sound good at all. Hopefully it isn't true in your case Bushlady.

I got my errands done, and am home. Only need to put out the ice cubes for the iced tea, and the coolwhip for the fruit, coffee caraffe and all set.

They help me put the extra leaves in the table, and we move some chairs in....the screened in is open, wonder if they want to work in there without a table....let them decide. I don't care one way or another.

PS: I'll give Gypsy an extra treat later. Thanks for the well wishes....

Thanks everyone. I got a fair bit to get done before leaving for Spring Break.

I managed to get my house vacuumed and we had parent teacher today (so I got a fair bit done in my classroom).

Need to come up with a detailed list for Saturday and Sunday so I will be ready to go Monday morning.

Tinytina:
I find that the motivation of going away is enough to get what needs to be done done before you leave. I like the house all neat and tidy before I leave, so when I come back it isn't hitting me in the face all that I have to do. I don't know about you, but traveling to me is very tiring!

Today:
Routines and ETEing
Fix pills for Gypsy and myself for the week
Put Dishwasher on fronm yesterday (added a couple more plates)
Class
Embroidery (finished one placemat yesterday)
Straighten out craft room

Dianaro and Tina, I am with you on wanting to leave a clean house while I go away. I have 7 days in which to accomplish that goal. I will be on vacation for the first 2 weeks of April. Plus, immediately before I leave, my DBs and I (along with our respective spouses) are going through Mom's stuff. And we will have to leave her home looking clean and tidy because it is now listed for sale with Real Estate.

My plans for today got changed this morning when I looked out my window. Everything is coated with a layer of ice! Therefore, my plan to go see Mom has been changed! I still might go later in the day IF it warms up enough to melt the ice.

My JDI list looks like this -
- living room (ROTM) PUPA and/or reorganizing
- finish laundry, if laundry is ever truly finished
- look for some further paperwork that will be needed for the sale of Mom's place
- other tasks

I think that's a good enough list for today. Working in the living room will make the biggest impact towards making my house look better.
