Today Iv got down stairs tided and vaccumed through.

I lost my kindle in the house so had to have everything out just to find Id slipt it in with the magazines - duh! Im glad I found it though.

Dad did some more gardening yesterday and Iv stopped him going up the ladder again to trim the bay, so I will have to keep a close eye on him.

I found that the animal I thought was a fox I was putting food out for is infact a fine looking cat. It doesnt have a collar on, but Im going to take a closer look tonight to make sure its well fed etc. Im presuming it is local but we have yet to locate the owner. With the recession a lot of people are just shoving their pets on to the street to look after themselves, I hope the cat isnt one of them.

Great going on the duvet cover! I know it will look so nice.
Sounds like you are doing a lot and getting much done at home too.

Was happy with getting the branch work done on one side of the porch. Did a cabinet that has been bugging me, and want to straighten out a few drawers (mostly silverware, etc.).
Today is desk day and need to straighten out the monthly file, just been pushing things into it, and some are keepers and some is just "cleaning off the desk" stuff!

It is also trash day tomorrow, so I gather up the trash from around the house, and get that out. Will do that on my way to class tonight. It is a 5 o'clock class, so home before dark, and miss the rush hour before! A win win.

Weather was quite good here today, so did 3 lots of laundry and hung it out to dry. Will really have to get a grip on the ironing tomorrow!

No branch work today, need to get cracking on that tomorrow too.

Got the trash gathered and put out. Went to class and now my phone is out of order AGAIN! Really frustrating. Got out and swept and set up the open part of the back porch. Did 2 batches of clothes, and filed for desk day.

Tuesday I got a lot done outside, bagged more leaves. Cleaned out the flower bed again.

That evening my neighbor across the street was outside with her new boyfriend, and long story short, they ended up having dinner here with Laura and me. It was a late night, had a lot of fun. Except I was wiped out all day yesterday.

I took Finn for a short walk, he managed to not limp all night.

Been getting stuff done here. Just finished chopping a couple of veggies. Now my eyes are all puffy and watery from the onions!! LOL

Girls are supposedly working on their chores for 30 minutes, then back to schoolwork. We have some people coming to work on a dance routine for the musical. Hoping this will really help!

Check back with you later!

Hey there! We're all moved, and mostly settled in. I don't honestly know what it feels like to be completely settled in anywhere...it's been too long since we've lived anywhere long enough to do that. We've done the initial unpack. I still need to go through and tweak areas - storage and room usage is always so different from one place to the next!

One of these days, I might even get the pictures hung up on the walls, too. smile

So, while I haven't been overly productive in my house, I have been productive in other ways. I've started homeschooling the kids! Wow, did I ever acquire a LOT of books, papers, office supplies in a short amount of time! LOL The school room is actually fairly organized, though. Of course it could use some tweaks, too, but it's probably the most organized of all the rooms.

Well, that's what is new with me. I wanted to stop by and say "Hi". I hope to find some time to get back on here more regularly. You gals are all so wonderful at keeping me motivated to keep up with the messes, and I sure could use more of that. Now I'm off to read back a little and see what you've all been up to.

Welcome back Pam, good to "see" you!

I did a little branch work, cleaned out one cabinet that was really bugging me. Cleaned the stovetop thoroughly, really need to clean the oven. Might do that later as the windows and doors are letting in enough fresh air.

Cleaned off the back deck, too early to think about staining it, but it needs it again. Did two more bags of leaves. Put some things away in the garage and went to the storage locker with another box of DD's things. Cleaned the bbq and the stand it is on. Mailed an important item, got that off my "list" of things I have been reluctant to do.

One job this morning, then a quick grocery shop for a new recipe I'm making, I should be home by noon. Hope to get more done outside, today is the last hot day forecasted. It's been a beautiful week here.
