Goodness this should be titled the Wonderfully Productive group post! Wonderful and busy gals. It is so inspiring to read all you are doing!
Started my branch work in the kitchen today, and went to a class. Set up my classes for next month. So many interesting and fun things.

I FINALLY STARTED CUTTING AND SEWING DD's DUVET COVER!!!!! I have most of the top done. Just one more stripe to add to the top, then I'm adding a chocolate border around the sides and bottom. (Hope I do okay.)
So far I've made three mistakes while putting this thing together. Unfortunately I'm not perfectionist enough to rip out the stitches and do it right! I just want to get it done! It definitely will be one of a kind!! LOL
Anyway, you all have a great evening! I'm going to get a little more sewing in! Cya!

after my salad, bath and motivational tape last night, i read another 90 email. i went to bed early for me.... around 1am
i slept til almost 2pm, then tried to get my coat dry cleaned, but it said right on the tag 'do not dry clean' so i brought it home and drenched it w spray and wash. it looks so much better!
after that, i did the dailies then read email for about 45 min and took a nap til jay got here. i fixed him a bbq chicken sandwich and after we ate, i finished the LAST of my aol email! it feels so great to be c/u on something. after jay left i called a friend and got on here. the dw and the dryer are both running.

Good going Mary!!!
I was going to stay up a bit later and work on the duvet while the family is sleeping, but I need a good night's sleep!
I do like the fact that I set up a corner of my family room as my sewing space, so no need to put it all away to function! I just tidied a bit and left it out for tomorrow! And we still have the kitchen and living room to gather in! Wahoo!
Nite all!

Happy Spring Everyone!
Another beautiful day here in NY. I got 3 more bags of leaves done, backyard is almost finished. Just need to clean under the deck and that is a bigger project.
I got the one flower bed in the front of the house all raked out, but ran out of bags, so I have a pile of leaves to pick up today.
DGF came over for a while, her husband has been ill and although recovering, she is wiped out from taking care of him. We had a nice visit on the deck in the sun.
Have a list of things to do today, hope I can get at least 3 done.

Had a blast yesterday with ds at the playground, back home for a nap. Made hummus, took a long walk with the ds and the dogs, then for a grocery store outing just to browse. Been up for 3 hrs but haven't done anything except eat breakfast and browse Internet...time sucker. Going to head out with ds shortly. Post actual productivity later!

Hi all, my DD has gone on her first school trip today so I'm a bit fidgety! Can't wait for her to come back and tell me all about it.
The weather has been lovely here today, so I've got laundry hung outside to dry and I've done some work on a financial spreadsheet for next year's tax return. It's been a while since I did formulas in Excel but it's all coming back to me now.
Bit too warm to do the windows, if tomorrow is hot again I'll either do them early or late (wanted to wash the outside windows as branch work).
Have a good one, everyone.

Was able to clean and set up the screened in. I also did the cabinet that needed it in the kitchen. Still have a few days for the appliances and cabinets.

Yesterday the girls and I picked up our food from a food co-op we're a part of, even did schoolwork on the way! Then came home, ate lunch, did more schoolwork until a friend stopped by with her kids. We worked on stuff for the co-op musical while the kids played. We even finished what we set out to do!
DH came home soon after they left, so I started dinner...red potato soup..dh's request. Yummy!! So good!
After dinner I started sewing again. Before I headed to bed, I completed the entire top of the duvet cover. Am going to ask DD#2 today if she really wants a duvet cover, or a quilt. If I keep going at this pace, I may be done with it by the weekend!! Yipee!
Today's schedule: schooling, phone calls, prepare lesson for AWANA, and sewing when I can fit it in! So love having the sewing station set up so I can come and go as I need to!
Have a great day! Cya!
