Finished up the house for company. Tomorrow will be shopping and arrival of my family. Love being a GONer.

Bonnie, take care of yourself. The housework waits!

wed morning, before bed, i finished up the mail and the rest of the dailies

i woke at noon and ran up to kmart. i got batteries, insoles and a new notebook. home again and watched dool for the 1st time in ages. i did 1/2 a routine then finished reading the last of the goner newsletters (16 today - total of 28 in the last 3 days). jay came over for dinner. after he left i did the 2nd half of the dailies.

i THOUGHT i wouldn't need to do laundry today, BUT the toilet backed up. ended up doing 2 loads 1 rugs and the the other towels.

Diana, enjoy the family this weekend! No worries...I'm taking care of me!

Mary you got a lot done!

Did a load of laundry...decided to go ahead and do the one load and keep ahead of it this week. Other than that, dailies trying to keep up with it...big stuff later when I'm feeling 100%.

Diana - Yes the times spent with little ones are so precious they grow so fast. I can not believe my nephew is 7 months old already, mind you and look at DS and wonder where the last 4.5 years went too. Enjoy your time with the family especially the grandsons.

Bonnie = I hope you and DH feel better soon.

Mary - Bad news about the toilet and extra laundry I hope it is all sorted now.

Well yesterday I spent the day on a trip with school at a place called blue planet, which is basically a huge aquarium. I had a lovely day, but I was exhausted when I got in after trying to keep my group together and behaved all day.

The bathroom suite has been cleaned and so has the cabinet in there. I have college today, and after that I am going grocery shopping.

I will then need to sit down with a cup of tea laugh and plan what I want to get done this weekend and what I need to pack ready for Monday. On Monday we are off to south Wales for five days for a well earned family break smile

Wish I had a lot to report but I didn't get much done yesterday.

Was too breezy to do leaves or outside work. Vacuumed the downstairs, put the dishes away, did some ebay. Need a part for the vacuum cleaner, spent an hour online trying to find it.

Made a new recipe for an appetizer, came out delicious. Laura wasn't home so I saved some for her for later today.

Hoping today I get more focused, since I am slow at work I like to take advantage of my free time.

Karen:
Wow, have a wonderful time in Wales on your family vacation!
You deserve it! The Blue planet sounded so cool!

Waterlady:
We all need some breaks from work too. Down days are good!

Things are all set for company. Baked a chocolate loaf pan cake yesterday for snacks, and just have grocery shopping to do.
Love when things all fall into place! That is one of the advantages of being a GONer! Thanks Maria!

Karen, have fun in Wales!

It is a beautiful day here...DS and I both slept in, I washed dishes, put away clean ones, wiped down 2 kitchen countertops, have been out in the yard playing baseball with DS.

Yesterday, did a load of laundry, ran some errands for the baby shower at 2 hobby stores and the dollar store, ate lunch out. Picked up some scrapbooking paper to make a cards for friend w/new baby and bday cards. Spent time with DS in the backyard, ate dinner in the screened porch, and went for a walk with the fam.

Just pumped up my bike tires and going to take a ride to the greenway with DS. Headed to the grocery store afterwards. During DS' nap, will work on the house a bit more. Friend's house tonight who will help me work on baby shower stuff. Still have to run to another store to buy the gift. Getting there slowly but surely!

Enjoy your day all!

Karen, have a great holiday!

Not much to report - had a few things crop up after meeting with a teacher so dealt with a bit of paperwork today. Haven't finished the deep clean of the bathroom yet (branch work) so will work on that tomorrow.

Diana - hope the family arrive soon!
