Woke up to snow this morning - just gorgeous (especially because I get to stay home ALL day today and don't have to drive in it).

DD had fun on her trip to San Francisco, but she was a bit miserable because it rained quite a bit and she was wet and cold and homesick. We'll have to go back, just us, when it's not raining.

She also did fantastic yesterday at the music festival. She came home with THREE Superior Rating medals on two different instruments. It was a GOOD day!

I have the kitchen all unpacked and put away. Now, I'm ready to move on to the next room. I think it needs to be the living room as that is the one that it totally loaded with boxes to be unpacked and it's driving me crazy not to be able to sit on my own couch because I can't get to it. Little by little, I'm getting there.

Update on my March goals:

ALL DONE Old House:
- Move all the remaining "tidbits" from old house to new by March 10th.
- Clean old house completely by March 10th
- Do yardwork at old house by March 10th
- Turn in keys and garage door opener by March 10th

New House:
- Empty boxes
- Finish lining shelves
- Purchase little necessities for new home (ie, command hooks, more shelf liner, etc.)
- Find a workable solution for office/craft room
- Type walk through list to give to property manager
- Arrange for Direct TV to be transferred

Work:
- State Writing Test for 4th and 7th graders - I'm testing site coordinator for this area - March 6th
- Gather all Quarter 3 work samples from students by March 16th
- Compile Quarter 3 work records by end of month - In Progress
- Host outing to Apple Store with another teacher (on 28th)

DD:
- Takes SAT on March 10th
- Final rehearsal with accompany for competition on March 10th
- Shopping Day with Mom - March 11th (?)
- School trip to San Francisco - March 15-16
- Woodwind Festival/Competition March 17th
- Dress Rehearsal for Spring Concert - March 24th
- Spring Concert - March 25th
- Meet with School Counselor - March 20th

Way to go on your list so far Dianaro.

You are making awesome practice so far Carol. Sorry to hear DD was homesick but congrats on her medals.

I uploaded my list. I booked my flight and hotel for spring break. Left messages with a couple of company's that I need appts with.

Wow! Mary, look at you go! smile

I am a bit frustrated. Well, more than a bit. I'm at a standstill because I can't figure out what to do. I put the casters on my bench/blanket chest last night, and it turned out great. I can now wheel the thing around to wherever I want it. So proud of myself for that little project. It's where I plan to keep all of my files. The problem is it won't fit where I had planned for it to go. Now I have to reconfigure the whole office area AGAIN! And, I don't know how to position everything. URGH! I think I'm going to take the wise Cyd's advice and do it on paper this time to save myself a lot of work. I WILL get this thing figured out eventually.
