It's surprising how much vacuuming you can do in a short time if it is a "quickie". It will do for now. I got a good long walk in afterwards. Never did dust, though! We watched a movie in the evening and I worked on some squares.

Today:

Dailies
Strip bed and launder sheets - done and hung in basement
Phone DSF - done.
Errands in town - done
Make bed with the other sheets
Go and tap a few trees with DH
Finish taking that crib apart
Make Mars bar squares and other food preparation - DS, DDIL and DGD coming tomorrow for a couple of nights.
Tidy the bedrooms where they sleep - one or two things got left in them from my organising efforts, and the ironing board is set up in one room.

Thank you, all, for your condolences. When I did my grocery shopping, I bought a few items my cousin wanted, as well, then, DD and I had lunch with cousin and her DD and we spent the afternoon talking. Lots of family bonding time. smile

That is so important Bless, and I am glad you were there for your cousin.

~~~~~~~~
Rested yesterday evening. This morning up and at 'em!
Took some items back to Target that I had purchased yesterday.
Was there by 8:30 this morning. Glad that is over.
Have a luncheon and little birthday gathering for my DS1 and
then home and will laundry tonight while watching tv.
It has been one heck of a busy week for me, and I have a few things next week, but NOTHING like this past week! Goodness I hope that doesn't happen too often!
Today:
Routine and ETEing
Sort laundry (have about 4 loads this time)
Wrap gift/sign card
Luncheon
Home/laundry
Sorry to hear about your uncle's passing, Bless. I am very glad to hear how much you were able to be there for your family. I managed to get all but 1 item done on my list yesterday.
So my #1 priority today is to get my marks updated in the computer program which will help set me up for success in getting my report cards done.
I am planning to spend a little more time at home, today, partly because I think my cousin needs a little alone time, herself, and partly because I've a few things I have to do.
JDIs for today:
- Reset the clocks
- Work on the office document I brought home
- Laundry
- Tidy the kitchen
- Clean the house
So sorry to hear about your uncle, Bless ((((( HUGS )))))
Not much time to post at the moment with the family here. The sap has started running at last and DGD was able to look in the pails. Not enough to collect today but maybe tomorrow will be a good run.
DGD is a good little Goner, she packed the toys neatly into the box again and was so pleased with herself. She enjoys having a tidyup all of her own making, from time to time. Of course there is still plenty of other stuff around! She hasn't got her parents trained LOL.
