I made what I call easter soup and we had it for lunch on Sunday. Then we were invited to his folks house, so while I was in the shower, SO ran out for a newspaper and bought eggs and I made 2.5dozen deviled eggs. Good thing too as the original 9 or 10 ended up being closer to 20 as SO's sister's son brought his girlfriend, and 6 others! Fun afternoon

That was so nice of you and DD. What a lovely and thoughtful surprise! You both are so sweet.

BL:
Sounded like a great way to contribute to the dinner, and glad you had a fun afternoon!

My dinner at DBs and DSIL's was wonderful and lots of fun too.

Well, we actually did go see my parents but it just didn't last long enough. I didn't get to have my Easter dinner afterward as I had planned, but the decor and dishes will come in handy for next year. So I am going to store them until next time. Meanwhile, school/college is back in session full swing and we are still planning on having a yardsale as soon as we can and when it's not raining. So far, we've gathered quite a bit of stuff for it. Just wish we could have it already to get rid of the stuff in our way.

Mary, I still have an Easter picture with rabbit and flowers on my front door, and there is a nest with decorated eggs in the dining room. I figure that since Easter has 50 days on the liturgical calendar, I don't have to hurry!

Easter soup sounds good, BL, and devilled eggs are a big hit here with DH, I guess i should make them more often.

Wheretostart, I understand your impatience to get rid of the stuff you've collected for a yard sale. For months we had a couple of boxes of stuff set aside for donating to a rummage sale, and I was so glad that they finally opened their storage area for the first time on Saturday so that DH and I could deliver them.

I took the decorations down today. left the big bunny outside on the bench. Will pack him up later.

BL:
Glad the food went over so well.

Where to start:
I hear you on wanting things gone. Hopefully you will do great at the yard sale. It will be there before you know it, in the meantime you can start pricing them and put the "alikes" together
