Morning everyone!! DD#2 is getting better slowly, but surely. No fever yet this morning. Only minimal stomach cramps now. I think we can forgo the dr visit. I would take her if the cramps and fever persisted. Plus she's back to eating normal and has continued to drink. All good signs I think!

Getting things put back in order around here. Mended Dh's socks while visiting on the phone with Linda, ETE'd the basement while chatting with DMIL, then ironed a few clothes to finish off the room.

DDs are getting their schoolwork done too. I'm getting ready to sew a couple of patches on our AWANA uniforms. I think the kitchen will be the next room. Dishes, cleaning up the wheat grinder, fill up the buckets with wheat and anything else I can fit in!

Well, I'd better get going. I'm sure lunch will be soon! Cya!

Oh you know spring is here when you here the canadian geese fly back home!! Yessss! Made it through another winter.

At work the kids were feeling mellow, love what this weather is doing to everybody. We took two long walks, one before supper and then again after supper before sun went down. Also love the kids being too tired to be unruly at bed time!

At home did babysteps of different things, sorted papers, Google maped where I'm supposed to go Wednesday, cleaned the bathroom, did dishes and made a pot of soup. I also watched tv for a while and knitted. No where near completing all I had on my list, but hey you only have one life here and wasn't going to spend it running around today. Got enough of that last week and looks about the same for the rest of this week. If there is one day I can take it slow, then I'm gonna take it!

Time to read in bed and turn this brain off, getting up at 5:30 again.

Done a bit of branch work today, washed the windows and doors at the front of the house. Bit of work in the kitchen, and have half an hour before picking up my daughter from school. Time to refresh the living room a bit!

I have some paperwork on a table in the kitchen and I'm taking a piece off when I pass and putting it away. Need to do some menu planning for the rest of the week and put some meat in the freezer.

Have a good one, everyone!

Oh the weather is so beautiful here.

Yesterday I had a ton of errands to do. Stopped at the shelter and dropped off a big box of stuff. Walked out with the cutest plant stand for DD's fiance in the shape of an old school desk, really cute. He likes things like that.

I did two bags of leaves yesterday and three today. The garbage man stopped to say hello and remind me they're not picking up leaves until April 1. I better cover the bags with plastic so they don't disintegrate!

So far two flower beds are done, and my perennials are half-way up already. Crocuses are blooming!! Back lawn is in shambles, it is covered with moss, definitely needs a lot of work to get it back in shape. I don't think there is a blade of grass left. Will have to go back to the garden center and get some more advice. I'll be mopping up mud for sure with the dog in and out.

Walked Finn yesterday to mom's and back a few times. Didn't want to take him on the trail. We'll do it again today and see how he makes out. I know I am gaining weight by not walking every day.

This morning the girls came for our weekly cuppa and catch up.

Then DS and I met my sister and nephew for lunch, and spent the afternoon with them. No productivity whatsoever, but watching my baby nephew's face light up when he saw me, and watching DS and him together is priceless smile

My phone was out again today. It was dead last Friday also!
Anyhow, took Gypsy into the vet for a recheck, still impacted and needed more treatment and antibiotic. Poor baby, she really yelped! I felt so upset!

Took her home and that was when I found out the phone was dead!
Called on the cell phone and reported it again. At least I spoke with a person for a change!

Went and closed a checking account I had stopped using so, that was good, been meaning to do it for months! Called and cancelled both the dentisst appt, and eye appt. Wanted to be home for the phone repairman. Nothing serious in either case so postponing wasn't a problem.

Did some spiffying in the craft room, finished up the decorations and vacuumed. It is beautiful here today, opened the doors for fresh air and it is so nice!

Waterlady:
Is the area where the moss is growing shady? I picked up some Scotts shady grass seed, and it filled in the area the old owner had placed a fence for her dog run, and watered it for a week or so and it filled in nicely.

Karen:
Those times are much more enjoyable than cleaning!!!!
I cannot wait for DD2 and the boys to arrive. There are a few places I can take them during the day to have some fun while they are on vacation. An arcade and lazer gun place and also a giant trambolene place. Have to check that out.

Really in good shape for the house I have to say!

after i got c/uon here, i fixed a good dinner for the first time since getting home from the hosp. i then took a bath and got everything ready for the accoutant (tax wise). next i baked a heat and serve apple crumb pie, did the dailies, washed/dried/p/a a load of clothes, ran/emptied the dw and made 9 business phone calls. i went to see my nurse, then came home and went to bed. i also read 3 of 28 gonner newsletters.... 1 took over an hr b/c i needed to read 6 weeks worth of the blog and org challenges and 2 mon daily checklists along w about 20 new articles. i was also pleased to see that maria picked 1 of my recipes to feature

tue, i woke at 1145. i went grocery shopping at food lion, just barely got everythng put away and sharon came by. we each ate a piece of pie, then i did the dailies except the mail and jay came by. i fixed my dinner (another good 1!) while he ate a piece of pie, then got on here.

while jay watched tv, i talked to a gf and my accountant, ate some chips and yogurt, brought in 2 days mail which i read, clipped coupons. after he left i took a shower and washed my hair. i finished off the last of a bottle of shampoo, so i got down a new 1, then read 6 newsletters and ate some cookies.

No Diana, it's just a mess! I completely rototilled it about three years ago and had a new lawn.

Took out my aerator "sandals" almost broke my ankle stomping around the yard, LOL. Kept hitting rocks. I'm sure the soil needs to be amended with lime or the sort. Could be coming from my neighbor, he has a huge "putting" green next to my fence with artificial turf that is covered in moss at the moment.

I would cover it with pea gravel but Finn likes to kick up after he "goes", so he would be shooting the gravel all over the street.

Laura brought over dinner last night, (bbq chicken) we visited a bit. The girl across the street stopped in and wants to have a garage sale in two weeks, she asked if I'm interested. Called my other neighbor to tell her, maybe we will have a multifamily. Good incentive to get into the garage again and keep getting rid of stuff.

Another nice day here, have no work again so I will clean up outside more. Really need to clean my truck.
