It seems when the sun is out, I am a different person!
Today again, I am full of energy to do all sorts of things.

Good to see everyone is busy and productive. Today I am hoping to sort thru some of my cardmaking items to sell, and that will help me with the ROTM by eliminating some items and getting things all "alike" together. It is in good shape from when I moved things down there, so it should only be a matter of going thru items nad deciding if I will use them or not.

Have a couple of bills to pay before the due date, and get a haircut today. Hoping to work on my christmas cards also.
Been working on them the past week or so. Lots of parts to assemble.

Have a great day.

Hi all, I'm a newbie but jumping right in!

Today I dropped DD off at school and then waited in for a workman. He came earlier than expected, luckily, so it gave me enough time to go to the bank and pay in some cheques.

I need to wait in for one tomorrow as well, will be a good chance to catch up with the ironing!

Have a great day, everyone.

Karen and Diana - Thanks for the well wishes. Brings you quickly back to reality and what is truly important in life. Good for attitude adjustment once in a while.

Today I switched my running day from Wednesday to today since I had to go out of vote anyway. Got to Walmart, Petsmart, Voting, Gas and carwash and was back by 11:00 a.m. [ and I live 20 minutes from any store]

Going to get dinner prepped and then spend some time working on my nemesis [the master bedroom]. I am determined to get this room COMPLETELY done this month. I keep picking at it but it never seems completely done. Lots of stuff to sell or distribute and need to set up a better way for my desk so I can work from home more efficiently.

Going to concentrate on projects this week and see how much I can get done. The house is in good shape since we had company last weekend. Can't do it all - so I am choosing projects instead of the day to day stuff.

Carry on all!

Lots of good things happening all!

Vanilla Housewife, WELCOME!!! We're so glad you've joined us! Isn't it great when workmen come earlier than expected and you are able to get other things done too!

Everyone has been quite productive....can't believe how much you have all gotten accomplished since I started the thread! WOOOOO HOOOOOOOO everyone!

Keeping up with dailies.....need to get myself back to doing extras but fighting off bronchitis (not very successfully either) right now so extras around the house can wait.

Have a great week everyone!

I did 1 1/2 hrs of study first thing this morning, and then did breakfast and took the dog out. Its raining and windy - a typical British day really.

Iv got two loads of washing done, tided/dusted the sitting room and vaccumed through downstairs.

Iv started the lunch, and now Im going to check my brothers lottery tickets, who is incapable of doing such, so leaves them all over the house and in dirty clothes for me to track down.

My sciatic nerve in my back is playing up today. Dads mobility scooter got stuck in the main doorway so I had to lift it over the threshold and thus the nerve problem. My upper back - where I had the physio - is fine at the moment.

Had a word with Dad to get my two brothers to help out more, and he thinks its up to me to ask them! Yeh right, they both would never do anything I asked, so I'll have to have a word with Dad again later.

Morning all - thanks for the warm welcome.

Purdy, I'm in the South West of the UK. Same weather as you today, quite a change from yesterday! My dad in the north west is sitting in his conservatory in sunshine though.

Well, the plumber turned up today and fitted a new shower! I didn't do the ironing as planned because he had to turn the water and some electrics off to do it, but he's finished quite early so I can catch up now.

I did do a load of laundry first thing, that is hung up to dry. Need to do a bit of tidying and the upstairs could do with vacuuming. I did file my nails and make a couple of phone calls while the plumber was in, so that's all progress too!

Have a good day, everyone.

Welcome Vanilla!

Hope you feel better Purdy! Keep the communication going! They'll get it eventually!

DH and I started a communication notebook. I woke up in the middle of the night (again) and since I had a lot on my mind, I decided to write some down. I admitted where I was failing and told him I needed help. I also asked for him to pray and think about what priorities we need to keep. I just can't do all of this. Either something has to give, or I and others need to step up to the task.

I spoke with the girls about their part this morning. I've asked them how much time we've been spending on watching tv and they agreed with me that it was too much. We could be using our time more productively.

So here's to making some positive changes for our family! Cya!

Hi All:

On a roll this morning - determined to get stuff DONE! Going to be a beautiful day here and the sunshine is like motivational juice to me. It is 9:15 a.m. and I have all ready dusted and vacuumed and done some work in the kitchen. One load of laundry done and ironed.

Put an hour in on the bedroom. I will be working on that mess between chores today - only because it annoys me after too long. But I am working from one corner and making my way around so I can see my progress. At least the rest of my house is in order.

I also have been sorting books and magazine on the dining room table to go to half price books tomorrow when I go to the dentist. My DF brought tons when he was here this weekend. More bucks for the "FRIG FUND".

Everyone have a great day and I will check in later for accountability.

Bonnie, please take care of yourself!!!!!

I have a very long list for today, it's supposed to get quite warm today. (TYG)

I may attempt to take a short walk with the dog, he seems better.

Cleaned out the tool drawer yesterday, tossed a lot. Cleaned off my desktop and dusted it. Mailed out an ebay package. Cooked a nice steak dinner and chatted with DSIL on the phone for a while.
