I am so sorry for you. Knowing you are an only child it really puts the burden on you. They will see it isn't as easy as they think to be at home, things that need repairing, yard work, etc.
Just do what you think is best and go from there. (((((HUGS)))).

Well going to go downstairs to look thru items to gather up for the yard sale at the card shop. Doing it a little at a time gives me time to evaluate whether or not I will use the papers or stamps and embellishments. Have waaaayyy too much, and the credit I pick up for selling them will help pay for the classes I love to take at this shop.

Diana the topper was last night when I got home and got the message they had frozen the book account so all the bills I paid are hot. I called them and told them I would bring them everything tomorrow after school and that the checks were hot and they might want to do something about that. I also talked to DD and we are going to let someone else take care of everything and just have to walk away from things.

I was able to get all my banking and errands done after school yesterday also a load of laundry. I've been dusting as I put put my spring things. I will try to vacuum tonight or tomorrow.

I am redoing my school notebook. I have the year in one notebook as far as papers I use. It's just to big and heavy to use anymore. So I've gotten a notebook for each unit. I think it will work so much better. I can also put everything in one notebook for that chapter; stuff like extra instead of another notebook. It will take awhile but it will be so worth it.

Ok now I'm going to go back to my notebook and one on a unit.

Cindy

Really? Does that punish you? LOL I really feel someone else handling their affairs might be a good idea. Less work for you and no complaining to you. (((((((HUGS))))).

Your plan for your work book sounds really good. It will take some time, but easier to grab and use in the long run.

Cindy things will work out....and this may be the best thing that could happen for you and DD. {{{{{HUGS}}}} It will get better.

Made me laugh today as not so dear sis called. Figured she either wanted something from me or DB was sick, and since I spoke with DB last nite, I already knew. No hello or conversation, just a request for making her request happen now. I will cooperate as what she is doing will benefit me in drive time, but not in her time frame. When i told her i was waiting for a dr return call for issues with my surgery, she never even acknowledged it and just demanded immediate action. Told her i would get to it on my next day off, sometime next week.

Amazing....as the saying goes, you can choose your friends, not your family.

Did manage some office time. I had sorted through a bunch of things last week and just put the 'to file' on the corner of the desk. So today I filed it all. Had forgotten I had an online course to take and found the paperwork when doing the filing, realizing that it had to be done by Thursday, so you know how I spent my evening....taking the online course. At least it is done and I passed with a 90%(only needed a 70%, but what got me was that it was timed. I could have finished it and aced it in half the time but it wouldn't let you advance until the right amount of time passsed)

Also had a few projects of SO's that needed to be handled and made him a list of the things I need from him so it can be finished too.

Going to log in the receipts and file them and head off to bed....back to work tomorrow.

Dianaro, I have no idea why she is the way she is.....martyr complex?, abandonment issues?, control issues? massive insecurities?...have really gotten to the point that I don't know and don't care. Way too many years of trying and crying on my part. It really is not worth it any more to me. When DB was in hospital last year, SO stopped in to say hi and she rudely demanded to know why he was there as it was family only. I told her he was a part of my life and was my family and DB really liked him and to deal with it. DB lit up when he saw him. His caregivers were there and pulled me aside to tell me they were on my side as they know how she is as well (she has filed complaints on every one of them at one time or another if they didn't do something exactly as she wanted it)

She is bitter, selfish, self centered, domineering, rude and direct. I will bow to her medical knowledge as far as DB is concerened as she is an RN & he's a mess. Her need to be in control and always be right is her issues so I just stay away. I am at the point where what i feel for her is pity. that her life is about who and what she can control. I see her ending up like one of those old cat ladies you read about but with dogs. She makes tons of money and is quite well off, but is not a happy person.

As far as ROTM goes, keep going on those baby steps....they will pay off eventually.

I am doing the baby step dance too. Color me happy with the progress. Finished the filing of papers, filing of current receipts and finished logging everything into binder for SO to see. Time consuming but will pay off in the long run. This one handed typing, along with my one handed life in general is driving me crazy. The limitations with the cast are more than I imagined, so I keep myself busy with the little tasks I can comfortably do and ignore things like the sink of dirty dishes.

Two more weeks and it comes off! In the meantime, I will keep working on the little projects, focusing on things I can do...like the office work!!

BL;
That is a sad situation, but you have overcome it! Good for you.

As far as the one handed typing, I am amazed you wrote so much! Good going girl!

SO can do the dishes to help, and enjoy it while you have it, believe me it will go back to the "normal" quickly enough. LOL

Babysteps here and there. This is a very out of the house week, so what I got done is fine for this week on the ROTM. Hopefully there will be more time at home next week!

Well, the car trouble I had over the weekend took over the 1st part of this week. I have been too stressed out to do anything. But the house is still relatively clean and tidy from the weekend cleaning. Will try to do a few baby steps in the 3rd room, this weekend.
