Bless: I cannot believe the difference in prices at the yarn shop compared to HL, etc., but the quality is lovely. Couldn't resist some wool with silver threads thru it for a scarf or cowl. They have drop in sessions on Wed./Sunday. Actually if I wanted to I could go to one every day but Tues/Sat! I actually did start a scarf in knitting, and a cowl in crocheting. The shop is both knitting and crocheting. Very helpful, lovely yarns and some are hand dyed.
Maureen: Goodness that is terrible about the neighbor's wife too. Gosh there is so many sad things happening in your area. (((((HUGS)))))).
Darlene: Look at you go crossing things off right and left! WHOOOO HOOOO Every little step counts!
~~~~~~~~~~ Had a lovely visit with my elderly friend and her DD. We always have fun, like family to me.
Did what I had to before I left, so the rest of the day is for me.
Update from yesterday - - reorganizing baby steps in the living room - organize boxes of "tossing" so that they are ready to take to the thrift store. Before donating, remove pics of unsold items from the local garage sale site. - online commitments - 3 pm and 5:30 pm - d/w - finish filling, run, empty and refill as needed (that's as far as I got in that ongoing cycle yesterday)
For today - - d/w - empty, refill, run if needed - reorganizing baby steps in living room - clean coffee maker with vinegar - take tossing to thrift shop ? - other tasks?
Good going Darlene. How is mom doing in her new facility?
Bless: it is a nice place and I am hoping she has a good amount of customers. I already know my next purchase!
~~~~~~~~~~~ Got the tax information all done to send to the accountant. Some of the items are coming in March but I sent what I had already.
Did some vacuuming, and a babystep in the basement. Took some trash up to go out this week. Leaving some of the empty topless bins down there to help me carry items upstairs or for that "garage sale" at the card store in April.
Tired now. Just having soup and sandwiches tonight. DS2 is coming over for dinner. My DDIL is helping her mom by taking her for radiation treatments. Too far to drive back and forth, so that is easier all the way around.

Sorry I haven't written in a few days. Sorry to see so much sadness in many communities (including the one I am living in again).
Not sure what my JDI list will be for tomorrow: -work evaluation -load of dishes -wipe kitchen counters and stove -take out garbage

Maureen: Glad the girls got out side to play~
Tinytina: Yes, there has been sadness in your area also.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Happy danced yesterday, finished my list and the taxes for the accountant! YEA!
Today is foggy, and hopefully will clear up before I have to leave for knitting otherwise, I won't drive, it is too dense.
Have a luncheon also, and then night time knitting if I wish. Haven't decided yet, will see how I feel at 5.
The house is all set for the UFP group tomorrow also, just have a cake to take out and set up the serving area in the morning.
How are you all doing?
hi all ,coming back to JDI. If I look at my branch work I will get down on myself. I certainly havent been relaxing or lazy but this is one of those times where life says, time to change. DH has been in the hospital for a week and all things are quite different now. My lovely helpmate took me out to do some much needed shopping yesterday (hubby did my groceries and I dont drive). The biggest mistale in my life. When one reaches my age and stage in life how dependent on others this makes you. I must be kinder to myself about this because my health is such it will not allow much beating up on myself. today so far. I have made many phonecalls for him. I will keep the laundry down. I will do all that I can manage for Charlie. I cannot walk him right now.Charlie is my soulmate on the homefront right now but he misses his best friend. So glad you gals are there for me. I thought for a while my computer was down but I FIXED IT. Ann 39.
