For someone who was so annoyed she spent her weekend (plus Friday) feeling sick, napping and then sitting at a desk all day - I went on a tear last night in the office. While my bf was shaving and showering, I made up a batch of waffles to use the milk AND went through a box of stuff that has been pushed onto the floor over the past year by my cat. I got through the entire box, did all the shredding and tossing from it, and now have a small pile of receipts that need to be entered and dealt with. Still have more to do in the office but that corner behind the desk was huge. I can see floor!

Thank you so much gals for praying for DH. He's still concerned about infection, so would you please continue praying? He decided to go to work today, since he would be doing light duty. Part of me hopes he can stay (since that's his desire) and the other part wants him home where I can care for him.
I'm really tired. Got a better night's sleep, but still recovering from the intermittent sleep from the night before. Our sweet neighbor is supposed to come help us finish splitting the wood this afternoon, so I'm not sure if I would have time to nap. May just go lay down now.
Will keep things easy today before then. School with girls and tidy up the house while getting ready for co-op tomorrow. (Somehow that doesn't sound easy! HA!)
Cya!

Wendy, glad DH got to work. DianeD, wooohooo on the paperwork! That's one job I HATE.
Been keeping Finn under close watch, he was fine yesterday. Then he must have been feeling much better, stole a shoe so we could "play". While running around the stairs, he let out a whelp and his leg went out sideways in the air! Been limping bad ever since, so off to the vet today..Glad I have insurance on him, but still have to lay out the money first.
Got another section of the LR/DR floor scrubbed. Colored Laura's hair, bonus: she came over with a fresh cooked quiche! Did some ebay, then a load of laundry. Took a hot shower and washed my hair and had my pj's on before 7.

Wow, all you gals are getting so much done. Being a Goddess I had to prepare myself for the Oscar party and going onto the "red carpet" at my DDIL and DS2s home, so I couldn't do too much in the way of housecleaning. It was a blast!!!!!! Had such a fun time, good food and laughs. I won a couple of prizes and got home after 11! It was really fun and I was able to see my DDILs mom, my friend, who is going thru cancer treatments, so it was a double Win!

After 6 days working I had Friday and the weekend off; lots of R&R. I did keep up with cleaning and laundry.
Today was a surprising day off as well! Thought they would call early but nope, then was sure to work in the evening, nada. This morning I cleaned the refrigerator while making coffee and breakfast. I washed the dishes and put away what was washed last evening. Ate while playing games on my laptop.
I caught up on taped shows while doing some accounting. Took a break, put the sofa cover back on (washed it yesterday) and looked over/tossed magazines for over an hour. I've decided to say no to GF's mags in the future and not renew 2 subscriptions. I've got better things to do, like reading a real book!
I cleaned the LR mirror and cleaned up/moved around my plants. This is part of my branch work. All that needs to be done is vacuum the rugs and sweep/mop the floor. But first before I lose my motivation I want to exercise!

Dianaro, glad you had a good time. I fell asleep! Took Finn to the vet. He was limping real bad when we left. Got to the vets, and Finn became a 3 month old puppy with his behavior. I was mortified. I've known the vet for 40 years, he grew up with my son. Good thing, I didn't die of embarrassment, he has known Finn since he was a pup and truly loves him. We hope he only pulled his shoulder and is now on meds. "Cage" rest (like our bed rest) for two weeks. If not better, then the other tests will start. (OMG, so glad I have pet insurance). On the other hand, I sold him a big water job for the animal hospital.
