Bushlady:
So glad to hear from you again. I am proud that you are seeking help and helping yourself. You are so kind.

Bless:
YEA!!! So glad you gave yourself permission to rest and relax!

I took over for you last night in the sleeping area!
Got home from luncheon and took another half of pill for the vertigo and slept the ENTIRE evening away, let the dog out, came in clossed up for the night and promptly went to bed AGAIN! I
took the pill as when I was looking at various items in the store, if I looked up or down, I got dizzy again! Crazy isn't it?

Have been invited to an Oscar party at my son's house, so made some potato salad and a jello mold to bring. This was before dinner and when I slept the entire evening away! Pills and I do not get along. Should be fun. My DIL is fixing "themed" food for each movie! I also loaned her my crystal punch bowl to use for the HELP theme. I am looking forward to the party! Will let you know how it turns out. I know we have to vote also.

Will make the potato salad today, Oh, I also did laundry yesterday in between going out and falling asleep! Just the usual routines and ETEing today.

Diana, the Oscars party sounds fun! Have a great time!

I am glad I gave myself permission to rest and relax, yesterday p.m., as my cousin called and invited me over for a visit and later, my neighbor's daughters came over (with desserts!) to visit us! I was able to enjoy both visits without feeling I should be doing something I had on my to do list!

JDIs for today:

- run dish washer
- cook beef curry & freeze
- laundry
- grocery shop
- vacuum family room sofas
- sweep family room
- clean bathrooms - DID 1

Don't have TV so no Oscars, but I've checked some of the photos online and I love the dress Louise Roe is wearing. Enjoy the party, Diana!

Yesterday was too windy for snowshoeing, but we got out today on our trails which were barely identifiable under the latest snow.

Laundry got done and folded yesterday.

Church this morning, and for some reason I was really tired and could barely concentrate, must have slept badly and my mood was down, but better now. Tossed an ancient pack of cards into the furnace. They had a bad link to my childhood, as DM used to read fortunes with them. They don't belong here!

Bushlady:
So good to hear you are feeling somewhat better. Great toss on the old cards! WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!

Today I need to prepare for my overnight care visit with my friend. Want to pack up the clothes and things to do while she rests.

Routine and ETEing
Packing
Crafting
Spiff up the house before tomorrow

Fortunately she isn't far from me (10-15 minutes) should I have to go home for something I forgot. Won't be on for a few days, will miss you all, but this is more important right now.

I was away (and offline) for a couple of days. I'm home again now and happy to be home! I wasn't planning on no internet access while I was away but that was the way it worked out.

Now that I am back, I need to get a few things done in my house -
- baby steps reorganizing my living room (ROTM)
- baby steps in my sewing room
- go to Bible study in morning
- see someone at bank re: an investment
- close out Mom's mail box at Post Office, return mail box keys
- attend church meeting this evening
- other tasks?

Got the bed changed etc. and also washed some towels. The bed sheets dry so well in the basement where the furnace is, that I was able to bring them up in the evening and put the towels down there to dry. Today they will get a 5 minute fluffing session in the dryer with two dryer balls.

Got the upstairs dusting and vacuuming done, but had to wait to vacuum until DH wasn't working at the computer up there. Fortunately he went into the basement to do something else for a long time.

Walked almost to my friend's house before she picked me up, had a long snowshoeing outing and in the evening DH and I walked to the mailbox and back, so my exercise was covered well. Bless, I think you should come here for some snowshoeing. Must be hard not to have snow lol!

Hope your care visit goes well, Diana. I'm sure your friend is delighted to have you with her.

Today
Dailies
Grocery shopping and senior's day at the drug store
Dusting downstairs and vacuuming
Plenty of other stuff to get at if I have the energy. I'm often wiped by evening so i just read. I want to get at some sewing.

Bushlady, actually, it DID snow a few miles away, yesterday (we had, what was called a major winter storm yesterday, with rain, hail and snow, in various parts of the area). laugh But I'd love to visit Canada - I've several extended family members in Toronto, Vancouver, etc.

JDIs for today:

Finish yesterday's list!

I was away from home again yesterday. I spent the day with my mother. She was going to the outpatient clinic for a simple medical procedure and I figured that she would feel better if I were with her. I was right! The LTC staff would have taken her for her appointment and done an excellent job with her physical needs but she "needed" my presence for her emotional well-being. I can guarantee that I will never regret spending special time with my mother. My house can and will wait.

But since I am home today, I want to get a few things done around here -
- sewing (baby steps) 1. jeans that need hemming; 2. start putting a quilt together (pin and begin stitching the layers together); 3. other projects?
- baby steps reorganizing my ROTM living room (this project is going to carry over into March)
- laundry (2 loads)
- other tasks?
