Waterlady: Hoping grandkitty is better. Scarey when they get sick, cannot speak and tell us what is wrong.
Gypsy seemed okay, will find out the test results tomorrow sometime.
Got my list done. Didn't do the babystep. Plans have changed since this morning. Might be going out with my friend and her DD to a new knitting shop that opened in our downtown area. They are both knitters and interested in seeing the wares, along with inquiring about classes. Have to make time for friends, the house can wait.

Got most of my list done. didn't get the thankyous done, but did make some progress ~ we now know who gave what (mostly). got the lower cabinets cleaned and read the meter but didn't get the check to the city.
got a call from the hospital ~ my appt that I have a written slip for Wed on is apparently tomorrow. Only we've had buckets of wet snow today making the roads trecherous and its an hour's drive away ~ chatting with a friend who drove back that way and she told me not to go...
There was a fatal accident. A young girl (17) was killed and her friend in critical condition. She lost control and collided with good friends of mine. (my kids' adopted grandparents who live across the back alley) they and their daughter were hospitalized but released, their son in law who has an existing medical condition stayed in hosp over night. their grandson was a good friend of the girl that was killed so you see how we are so connected in small town living (the girls are from a different town).
so tomorrow's JDI's are a bit in limbo until I have more info..

Oh Maureen: I am so sorry for another tragedy in your town! (((((HUGS)))). That is so sad to hear such a young person died.
Definitely stay home. Not worth the risk, IMHO.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Today I am suppose to meet some friends to check out the new knitting shop in town and have lunch....we had some slushy snow overnight and it looks fine out. Don't know if they will cancel or not, but will plan to go as scheduled just in case they don't.
Routine and ETEing Lunch Babystep Crafting
Should be home all day tomorrow. That can catch me up. House is in good shape, just have to vacuum and dust in a few rooms.
Thanks Diana
Tues JDI: *reschedule dexa DONE *collect trash/take bin to curb DONE *take girls to school DONE *get mail/pay water bill DONE *visit DFs DONE *workout DONE
*dust piano *dust chinacupboard *clear kitchen table *clear other surfaces in DR *check on Df *gymnastics *p/u more cookies
On my way over to my friends I stopped to give our other neighbour a hug. I don't really know him but dh does, his wife died last week and the funeral is today ~ I would have gone but I found out less than 2hrs before hand.. I never met her...
My friends are doing well. they have airbag/seatbelt injuries but otherwise are all right. the fact that the young girl died will weigh heavily on them, so I pray that they will leave it in Jesus' hands...
If my appt was now, I would have probably felt comfortable going. But I didn't want to take the chance before the sun starting doing its magic and the road crews were out in full force.
Maureen, my condolences on the losses in your community. Events like that tends to be far reaching in smaller places.
I got some jobs accomplished yesterday. I feel good when I make progress even though there is lots more to do before my particular reorganizing project is finished.
For today - - reorganizing baby steps in the living room - organize boxes of "tossing" so that they are ready to take to the thrift store. Before donating, remove pics of unsold items from the local garage sale site. - go shopping for a certain style and size of storage boxes (I didn't find what I wanted so I didn't buy any) - get a prescription refilled - online commitments - 3 pm and 5:30 pm - d/w - finish filling, run, empty and refill as needed - other tasks?
