Picked up bread, milk, fruit and snacks from the grocery store on Sunday.
I need to do some cooking tonight to use up some fruits and vegetables that might spoil if left in the fridge any longer!

Came down with something (sore throat/beginnings of a cold) on Wed.; haven't felt much like cooking. I am grateful for pre-cooked stuff I have in the freezer.
Heated up 2 frozen pot pies for dinner, Wed. night.
Last night, tossed together already browned ground beef from the freezer, with onions, celery, peas and corn (all from the freezer), some curry powder and chilli powder, heated it through and served over freshly cooked rice, with cucumber salad; leftovers for lunch, today.
Canned peaches (bought on sale for $.50/can) for dessert.
DD was studying for finals, so not available to cook. However, she did pack my lunch for me, to take to office (yes, I went to office, even though I have sick leave and my supervisor said to take time off - something is seriously wrong with me!)
What do you do when you don't feel like cooking? Do you have something in the freezer or in your pantry which you can put together for a meal that requires minimum cooking?

Been keeping it simple. Watching sales and eating accordingly.
Have gotten some good prices on fruits and veggies and have had lots of teens in the house so grocery budget is much bigger than usual. I swear, I did not know that 3 fourteen year olds could consume soooooo much food so fast.....and then be hungry again an hour later!
The good part is that SO's son has spent several weekends in a row with us and his mom has been willing to let him be here as well....

Pork chops for dinner, last night, with rice and green peas. Chocolate pudding for dessert. Will probably make something with ground beef for dinner, tonight. Exactly what would depend on how tired I feel when I get home!

DD had made fried rice with the ground beef and it was all ready for me to eat when I got home, last night! Packed the leftovers for my lunch for today. I made her some pasta, however, for her dinner and today's lunch.
Might do a stir fry for tonight's dinner.

Well, DD and I stopped at the Asian grocery store, yesterday, on our way home from work and bought 2 steamed buns (with pork filling; $1 @) for dinner! Plus a bunch of other stuff, such as fruit, cans of congee (type of porridge), raisin bread, and specialty cookies for b'fasts and snacks. We have plenty of snacks for DD to take to campus when spring quarter starts for her on Monday.
Now I have to get busy and plan our menus for the next week, so I won't stand in the kitchen at night, wondering what to pack for the next day's lunches!
Since we are nearly at the end of March and this thread is already 8 pages long, I am going to start a new thread for April's menu plans and grocery budgets.
Please join me on Part 4!
