Yesterday afternoon was not productive, but enjoyable as a young neighbour dropped in with her little dog (a young one and just like a child, not content to sit down and do nothing!)
The yoghurt got left a few more hours and seems to be very runny but still yoghurt, not just milk. I could strain it through a filter.
Went through some paperwork and got rid of a lot more.
Today: Dailies Laundry - some already done Shine up kitchen sink - done Ironing - yes, I put off the bit that was left and did puzzles instead! Rearrange pantry Snowshoeing and/or walk with DH Some sewing perhaps, or more work on paper tossing. Or we may watch a DVD this evening.

Got the shredding done, almost filled a large leaf bag. I also did it in the kitchen so I wouldn't clog up the vacuum again!
Started making the candy, went to church and did a little reading this afternoon. Tired now, and will look into one more cabinet in the family room to see what I can do in there. I also put out some decorations and hung a few on the wall. Still have one or two more to put out.

The postponement of the ironing continues! (well, there isn't much) I got the pantry sorted out yesterday and it should work a lot better now. Did the second lot of laundry.
Today:
We went to breakfast with friends, and then I went to mass. DH picked me up afterwards and we went to the grocery store. Since then I've made lunch and taken a nap and answered an e-mail and I'm still not adventurous, so it will be a relaxed day except for cooking a chicken and accompaniments. Can't complain since I had an easy supper yesterday with spaghetti sauce from the freezer.
So - cook chicken, fold laundry from yesterday, possibly watch movie, as yesterday we both read books in the evening and DH has finished his.

I was in line with you Bushlady about taking it easy.
Was suppose to go to the movies, but woke up with a sinus headache and miserable, took meds and tried to rest, but it didn't go away until later this afternoon, and still congested. It is the warming and damp weather I am sure....anyhow, the lady I was going to meet with understood sinus headaches, and also the noise level in the movies is unbelievable normally, let alone with a headache!
Did some ETEing, recycling and candy making so far, and finished a book. Going to vegg and crochet tonight.
Oh, I also cleaned another cabinet in the family room.
Have a good evening.

I took it easy too, especially today and it felt really nice.
I did manage to get everything done off of my weekend list other then tidying the living room, however, I did pick up the coffee table a bit so I am content.

Having read an article on unexpected location for germs it suggested, wiping off computer keyboard with a cloth slightly dampened with rubbing alcohol, washing sheets and towels in 180 degree hot water, using a teeny amount of bleach [well diluted] for underwear, damp one corner of paper towel with detergent to wipe down fridge as bacteria can be rampant in the fridge.
Bless, what they said about bacteria in carpets was shocking.

Cyd, I often wonder about the need to use hot water for bedlinen, as DDIL uses cold water for just about everything and they do tend to get colds quite often. When I was a child I remember my grandmother boiling sheets in the "copper" in the corner of the kitchen!
Yesterday I did go snowshoeing, and cooked the chicken. Folded the laundry. Watched movie in the evening and DH bailed out on it! I persevered as it got better.
Trashed some photos on computer this morning. Today: Dailies Clean powder room Wash vinyl floors Go to church for an hour with friend Ironing Sewing/decluttering

Way to go everyone! I didn't have time to make a real list today so I am keeping it extremely simple. Today's JDI list: -load of dishes -wipe kitchen counters and stove -make coffee for tomorrow morning and my lunch -respond to some emails
