Ha, I forgot about changing the bed today and just made it instead, then my friend mentioned something about stripping beds and the light came on! So the bedding is now laundered and ready to hang up in the basement.

I did the ironing yesterday!
I didn't get the floors washed yesterday because DH didn't go out as expected. So they will be done this morning when he goes in to town. Although it would seem to make sense for both of us to go in together, I am going in this afternoon as he has too many errands for me to piggyback on the trip.
Today: Dailies Wash floors Clean basement stairs Fold bed linen Go into town Answer e-mails Whatever else I get to, if I am not too tired - e.g. mending jeans or decluttering

Bushlady: You have quite a long list today! Errands wipe me out usually, so I try and do the housework before I leave too.
Today: Routine and ETEing Cabinet/branches Check oven (temp wise) Craft Read
Have a great day all. Remember to reward yourself.

I didn't have time to post a list yesterday, but this is what I did: - Took DD to campus and back - Read while I waited for her - Put gas to the car - Grocery shopped - Called and made a dental appt. for myself (broke a tooth on Sunday p.m.) - Went in for eye exams (DD and I); we both require new glasses - Washed dishes - Cleaned out the fridge - Fed the compost heap - Took the trash cans out to the curb for trash pick up today - Put water to the front garden - Cooked spicy beef for dinner - Made chicken stock for soup - Did some paperwork - Wrote e-mails to friends And, inspite of it all, went to bed feeling disgruntled because I ran out of hours before I completed my to do list! JDIs for today: - Wash hair (DONE) - Return bank phone call (DONE) - Give donation (DONE) - Make chicken soup (DONE) - 15 mins. branch work - 15 mins. ROTM work Took a nap instead of doing branch & ROTM work!

It's time for me to rejoin the land of the living! LOL Actually, I think I've been dealing with a flu bug. As a result, I decided to make the past two days into a 1 objective JDI - rest and assist my body "kick that bug to the curb". Today I am feeling better - YAY!
As I posted on another thread, I helped move Mom to a LTC facility late last week. I'm hoping to go visit her tomorrow and take her a few more "things" for her room.
For today, my JDI list looks like this - - laundry - bake buns - two online commitments (3 pm and 5:30 pm) - plan an easy-cook supper - baby steps in living room (ROTM) - kitchen ETE - other tasks?

Darlene: Goodness woman you have been busy. Glad you got mom settled into another facility. Is it closer to you? Please do take care and rest. Those bugs can get us down.
Well I checked both ovens one is off quite a bit, and the other one not so much. At least I know now I didn't exactly loose my touch. Have to compensate now when I bake.
I did the craft and reading. Started another lap robe for the hospice, and want to finish a book before next week so I can return it to the lady who loaned it to me,
Made a few phone calls, wrapped bday gift for DD1, candy is all covered with bows, and did my branch work for today. Hoping to get into the basement for a few babysteps tonight and tomorrow. It really isn't that bad, so I guess I have done more than I thought.
Hoping you all have a lovely evening.

Today, I have a dental appt. in the a.m. (broke a tooth over the weekend). So, what I get done in terms of housework will depend on what the dentist does (extraction?) and how I feel afterwards.
JDIs for today:
- Take DD to campus (DONE) - Dental Appt. - Paperwork/branch work/ROTM? - Visit cemetery - Pick up DD from campus

Hoping you are okay Bless.
I got quite a bit done, just have to package up the valentine boxes, and do my babystep. Will be getting the boxes and do a babystep.
Did another cabinet in the family room. One more to go!

Bless, I hope your dental appointment went well and that he was able to build up the broken tooth rather than yanking it out!
Darlene, I hope your DM blossoms in her new home. It certainly sounds lovely. I always felt happy for my mom that although, in her case, she was with other dementia sufferers, she did have happy interaction with the staff, who loved her. I just wish that DSF would move into the residential home that he has been considering for years. He's still bright, like your mother, and would benefit from being with people.
Yesterday I took my reward first! Before DH went into town, I soaked my feet and read a chapter or two of a novel before the pedicure. (A good book, so the water cooled off quite a bit!) Then I got the floors done and the basement stairs.
After lunch, friends dropped in and we had a lovely long visit, then I make a quick trip into town. Napped after supper, and also worked on organizing some photos into a folder on the computer.
This morning I washed my hair, then went to the funeral of someone I have known locally for many years, staying to visit over the lunch. Apart from the dailies, it has been an unproductive day. DH and I walked to the mailbox. I guess I am fortunate in that things are quiet right now and the house is fairly straight and not too demanding, as long as I get at it bit by bit. When spring comes, who knows, I might leap into action!
This evening will depend on how I feel. If I am not too tired I may get into some mending. There is a pair of DH's jeans needing a patch on the other knee.
