Dianaro, that is an old picture. That's why it looks neat and tidy shocked

So far today, I have not accomplished any ROTM work but that project seems to wait on me. Eventually, I will get it done - it may take several months/years but I refuse to quit!

bless and dinaaro, thanks for the well wishes....both of us are feeling better. Even though we both had to work yesterday and didn't even get to see each other, it was a nice day.

I came home to a note apologizing for his behavior over the weekend (he thought someone was giving me a hard time and came to the rescue-the guy was drunk and I didn't need rescuing but it was touching to see how he freaked out over someone possibly hurting me) and professing his forever love. He also said no roses because they die quickly and that was not us. Can we say "melted my heart!"

Haven't had a migraine like that in a while and I think it was from lack of any caffeine. Doing well now and did do some office time for about twenty minutes yesterday and this morning.

Redid the folder for tracking expenses as from one of the other postings, decided I would use other pages protectors that were sitting around to hold all the receipts instead of using the separate check file holder. Now there is one thing on the desk instead of two. I also had a small basket on top of the desk that the receipts got tossed into until I filed them. In a bold move for me, I got rid of that basket, thereby forcing myself to deal with them immediately instead of procrastinating and letting them sit.

So, not lots of progress, but again.....baby steps.....and the kitchen counter and dining room table are not accumulating stuff either.....so right now I look at that as a win win!!

Darlene:
I feel exactly like you do, eventually things will get done if we keep working and planning it!

BL:
Sounds like you two are made for each other. So glad that the house is staying in your Win Win situation. That is always a giant step in being a GONer! WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOooo

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Going to do a babystep downstairs after I post. I have my plan of action! Even if I don't finish the area, it is started and being worked on!
Have a great day all. I get to go to lunch out today so that will be my reward!
BL: Glad to hear that you are both feeling better.
Darlene: I love the shelving units and the shoe boxes. Like Diana said, so neat and organized! smile
I haven't done anything in my ROTM. But, I have a long weekend coming up, so, I am hopeful that I can get something done then.
So I had my therapy appt yesterday morning at 11 & didn't have to be at work til 215. Work is halfway between home and therapy, about a twenty minute drive. decided to pack up some papers to sort and tossed them in a briefcase and brought them with me. Wehn I was done, I picked up some lunch, parked in a back corner of the parking lot and spent and hour on sorting and making a plan of what needed to be handled.
So today I will pull out all that stuff, file what needs to be filed, and be able to be more productive in the office. Have a small amount of stuff to shred, some more to toss, some to file and even created a to do list for the rest of the day.
Unfortunately this is my other day off this week and I work til next tuesday so today is the day for progress.
Keep up the good work everyone
Doing good BL! Smart idea to sort while between your appt and work.
Unfortunately I am in and out all day today, so only the small list I wrote this morning.
BL, your happiness rips right off the page and makes us all feel the joy! Tell fiance 'thanks' for improving my day [just starting] in Bangkok.
Hoping to get more completed this next week between branches and ROTM in the basement. I am tired of it already. Have quite a bit of it done, and the crafting items can be looked at as I go along regularly.
One place I go to is having a "garage sale" and we bring things we wish to sell, and then are given a store credit on the amount of items sold. I can apply it to classes, etc. So I am slowly going thru items I can sell at the sale, and it only costs $5 to get into it. Well worth the trade off.
Yesterday I sorted thru the bins/boxes I have that are empty and am trying to put covers on them. If they don't have covers they are being tossed. These are from items I have tossed, etc.
Hoping to get more done tomorrow and Wed., when I will be home.
worked all weekend and big cold snap with lots of blowing winds while working at the door.....of course, now I am getting sick again......aaarrrgghhh. even multiple layers, a full length down coat with hood, a scarf, gloves and hand warmers didn't do the trick....can't wait til this hand is healed and I get to go back to the morning shift.
SO, his son,and his dad & brother and a few other friends went ot a big game dinner on Saturday(I of course,had to work). SO bought several raffle tickets while there and ended up coming home with a new rifle that he gave his son....can we say they were both glowing over the win!!! I told him it was the karma he creates around him. He helped organize a fund raiser for a fellow worker who is out of work due to health issues. They did 50/50 raffle and a big buffet lunch and he won the raffle then gave the money back to the fund for the guy & they ended up raising enough money to pay the guys bills for a month! very cool and thoughful.....and I am lucky enough to have him for mine!!
We will also be adding an air hockey table to the basement as a friend wants to sell it and the guys think it would be great to have. Told them that there were things that needed to be done in the basement before it comes in the house. This way, SO goes through his stuff this week and his son started working on other things last nite as well. Win win for me as I get things done that have been promised but not started and they get more fun guy time with the new addition.....SO is buying it so I am not spending any money either, just providing the space. But.....the space wouldn't be here had I not spent sooo much time with the organizing and decluttering.
Tomorrow is off day so have a few hours to work on stuff. Have therapy late morning and meeting a few friends for lunch that I have seen in a while so will set the alarm early and spend a few hours in there.
