Yesterday I decided my office was driving me nuts. So I started to clean it, even if it means two boxes: go through asap and non-critical. I have a small pile on the desk that is "do right away".
My desk is deep so I have a pile in the back corner I hand't touched in over a year. Found my 2008, 2010 and the 2008 fix of taxes I had to do - at least they were in their envelopes but it would have driving me nuts if I needed them and they weren't filed.
I hope to have things cleared by the end of day so I feel like I can work comfortably in there again, then just need to take the time to go through the boxes.

Bitter cold day outside, but sunny. It has been a stay at home day here...made valentines with DS for my parents, pizza for lunch, washed 2 loads of laundry, but not folded yet, went through a box of paperwork/random stuff from my car and haven't put it all away, vacuumed living room and had DH do kid's room. DH was on a roll and trimmed down a huge bush that had outgrown in the backyard, used the blower to get rid of debris on the screened porch and outside patio.
Been browsing the web for food ideas...going to make a shrimp dish with biscuits for dinner and mini cheesecakes for dessert.

Crazy cold here as well, and windy! I managed a 1+ hour ride this morning, first time I didn't sweat lol Got the desk done! Have a pile of receipts to go through as I was backing up my machine when I got to them. Still need to file the tax stuff but that's easy and it's all in a pile. Got my old box of desk shredding emptied (filled the shredder 3 times) Took the box from the kitchen from last month, went through it and now have a smaller box from counter AND desk. So much of what was on my desk was TRASH Didn't get much done in the room but I should be able to do the same tomorrow afternoon. Moved my roses up here so I could enjoy them Got my 2010 state sales tax filed for the business. Working on a quote now, really need to get this done today, it's been on my list way too long. No idea why I can whip some out and others seem to get procrastinated on.

Fleur - Thanks I had a great day. Your day sounded fun too. I had a stay at home day Sunday too too cold in England as well Bless - Glad you took a nap after all you did. Purdy - Glad you got the bed fixed and are sleeping better. Diane D - That is a lot of shredding! Well yesterday I stayed home and cleaned and cleaned. All the ground floor was vacuumed and mopped, all sides were wiped and the downstairs toilet cleaned. I then moved upstairs and I vacuumed the stairs on the way up I then vacuumed DS's room and vacuumed and mopped the bathroom. The plan for today is branch work so the master bedroom is going to get a good clean. Be back later ........

Well so much for me saying I didn't mind the cold yesterday.
We went up to the Catskill Mountains, it was snowing, cold and very windy. Great day to meander in the woods and hike the property where the wedding is taking place. (I'm soooo kidding, of course) I nearly froze to death even though we all were dressed warm!
The place is very pretty, I'm so glad I went to see it. It's not as big as I thought, it will work out fine. Now we can start our formal plans.
Got home just as it was getting dark. Laura brought dinner over, made some calls and went to bed.
This morning I am meeting the truck for my work delivery, I saved over $225 in shipping!! Now that's a good start for the workweek!

We've got over an inch of snow here this morning. Still snowing too! Normal day for us girls, though. Schooling, prepping for co-op tomorrow, ETEing, and today I want to get started on making DD's duvet cover. Like the painting, it won't ever get started if I don't take some baby steps! I just remembered that I also need to do Linda's DD's taxes as well as our own.
Cya later!

Waterlady: The hardest part is finding the venue for the wedding! Good for your DD finding one! I bet the scenery is beautiful, and hopefully it won't be cold!
Wendy: We had snow on Friday. Still around but nothing like Indiana was getting with the Lake effect snow, I think Michigan too.
~~~~~~~~~~~ No productivity yesterday other than completing another lap robe for hospice. I did the regular ETEing, but nothing else. Needed a day off after two days of company. Not a lot of work, but I get tired anyhow.
Today is another story now. Anxious to complete some things.
Karen: You did a lot! Yesterday was a busy day, too, although I stayed home, all day. Continued with cleaning the house, did several loads of laundry, reorganized the linen closet, had a neighbor stop by for a visit, etc. Did get in another nap, so that was nice!
