DH uses the dining rm table as support for his 'office in a roll top desk,' and flings/corrals papers in a plastic tray like those used in any cafeteria or Costco's hot dog stand. A piece of 'waffle' shelf liner keeps stuff from sliding out and facilitates the end-of-day vanishing act.

I need this thread up again! Who's with me?

Let's take just five minutes and file just what we can in 5 minutes. Five small minutes WILL make a dent in that 'to file' pile laugh

No huge pile of filing? good for you! Choose something else you can do and share it here laugh

Five minutes wasn't enough for me! I was so far behind in my filing that I needed 5 hours! But I did it! I cleared the backlog, purged and organized my files, etc. Now, to stay current - that is always a problem for me.

Bless, I sooooo agree with you. I did the same thing a couple of days ago. Will be working in the office and continuing a classI am taking, so keeping it cleared is imperative.

Here's to a newly cleared desk top .....and keeping it that way!

I'm also jumping in here. Things are almost under control in the office, it's the last few piles that linger that bother me the most.

Worked on the top of the barrister bookcase, got that under control and tossed a bunch of papers.
