I am quite pleased with how things are getting done, and I am planning some goals for the garden when the weather improves. I also have a few ideas for the house, but keep changing my mind So once I make up my mind I will post them. For the rest of the month I want to continue with the decluttering, schedule some appointments and of course get DS 100% recovered. Keep up the good work everyone!

Poor baby. It is hard for them to understand. Sounds like you are giving him all he needs Karen.

Karen....Poor little guy. Hugs to him and to you.
Well, I'm going to be MIA for a few days. I won't actually be missing, just from GON.
Today, I will be packing up more things in between teaching different classes online and doing other work related tasks.
Tomorrow it the big day. We get the keys to our new-to-us home. I have a semi-plan in place and we'll see how it goes.
After we get the keys, we will move in some small things that we can carry in the car. We will also go through room by room and do our initial walk-thru to make a move in list of the condition of the condo to give to the property manager. I don't think we'll be staying there Friday night as we won't have internet there until Monday, and I will still have some work to do in the evening.
Saturday AM, we will pick up DS and the moving van and move all of the big and heavy things and the majority of everything else. We will set up the beds and that's probably about it. We'll also take everything that we are giving to DS to his storage unit where it will stay for the next 30-45 days until his escrow closes.
Sunday will be a setting up house day. The most important thing to get up and running will be my office. This will be our 4th move in 5 years and the first time that I'm attempting this without taking a single day off work. Personally, I think I'm a bit crazy to do that, but I used my time off at the beginning of the school year to be with R at the hospital. I have a couple days left, but I'm using those in May to attend a conference with DD so we've got to make this work. We can do it, but it will be challenging.
Here we go......Ready to start our new adventure!

Carol, Wishing you well on the double move, furniture and items to your new apartment and furniture to DS's storage. Hopefully, DS has a friend who will help.
Moving is 4th in the list of life stressors so cut yourself slack, get your internet and home office space functioning sufficiently to cover work tasks and let the rest follow in 'BABY STEPS'[SHOUTING] It's okay to take your time unpacking and making decisions.

Karen: Hope your little one gets over his cold soon.
Carol: Wow! You are going to have a very busy weekend! Like Cyd said, Baby steps! Set up the beds, your office and, maybe, the kitchen. Just the essentials. Then, do the rest, little by little. Take your time with unpacking and settling in. (((HUGS)))

Carol Your plan sounds great. Hopefully it works out. If you lived here you would be contending with 6" of snow, so be happy! Good luck and keep us posted on how it went.
