Dental appt. went fine, because all they did was take x-rays, submit the request for authorization to the insurance co., and refer me to an endodontist for root canals! :p
JDIs for today:
- Note to gardener (DONE) - P/U check (DONE) - Bank - will do tomorrow, I think - Farmers' market (DONE) - P/U DD and go home
DD is scheduled to work until 8:30 p.m. tonight, although she might be able to get off at 8:00 p.m. I am debating whether it is worth while to go home for an hour before going to pick her up, or whether to drive straight to the campus and wait until she's done.

I was to visit Mom yesterday. I took her a few things to make her room feel more like home. She wasn't sure she wanted or needed the things I took to her! Stubborn lady!
Only problem was that after I got home last evening, my flu returned. I heard today that there's a flu strain in the area that takes about 10 days for the body to shake it. Yuck - that means I'm about 1/2 way through it. But now I'll be a bit more cautions about declaring myself "over it".
That also means that today is a slow, lazy day again. I'm not pushing myself very hard to get things done. Kicking that flu bug in at the top of my agenda. If anything else gets done, that's a bonus.

Darlene: So sorry you don't feel better. Hope Mom doesn't catch it. Definitely take care of yourself, the work waits, you know that! LOL
Bless: OUCH! Everyone is a specialist and having to wait is ridiculous! Don't get me on my soapbox!
~~~~~~~~~~ Had a very early morning at crochet, home and finished up the wrapping of Valentine gifts. Took them to the post office, and am glad that I was able to get them out in time. I have two more gifts I can deliver to my DSs and fami
DS2 is bringing over the dinner and I'll do salad and dessert. My DDIL is visiting with her ill mom. DS has too much work today with the new job.
Have the UFP group tomorrow. Just have the floor to mop, and prepare the dishes, etc.
It has been a non-stop day. WHEW!
Just have to put things out for the UFP group today. House is in good shape and can relax before they arrive for a change. Yesterday was so busy I never ate until 2:30, which won't hurt! LOL
Hope you all have a wonderful day and have plans to enjoy the weekend with family/friends. Going to have my sons and family over for pizza dinner on Sat. Can give them their Love bags for valentines day too.
Hope you are feeling better, Darlene. Diana, I have known what it is like to be too busy to eat until late, but I tend to keep an eye on the time when DH is around as he is one sad bunny when not fed! : )
Yesterday afternoon we went for a long walk. In the evening I was planning to sew but instead I tidied the sewing drawers and basket.
Today: Go to mass and breakfast with friends - done Phone DSF - done Dailies Clean fridge Hand laundry Fetch mail Sewing and more tidying E-mails
Still not feeling better but I've discovered that over the counter rememdies help a bit. I'm not trying to accomplish very much each day. I want this silly "bug" evicted!
Darlene, hope you feel better, soon. I decided to save gas and cut down on driving back and forth, so, drove to the campus, after work, and napped in the car while waiting for DD to finish work!  Got home around 9:30 p.m. and only did the "dailies". JDIs for today: - Bank - Bills - Phone calls - Clean living/dining rooms
Bushlady: Great going on that sewing room. That can get very involved! WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO
Darlene: Go away bug! You poor dear. Just take your time and get well.
Bless: YEA, for you. You needed that nap. Could also bring a book when you aren't so tired. Sometimes when I want to read, I fall asleep! LOL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Did the last of the branch work for this week. Had my friends over and a lovely time. They brought cookies and cupcakes, so I only provided drinks and some candy to nibble on.
