Bushlady: So sorry about your weather, but you are correct in knowing to be thankful for our warm homes! Winter is hard with gloomy days for me, but we have had a generous amount of sunshine this year compared to years past!
You did great on your list yesterday!
~~~~~~~~~ Routines and ETEing Haircut Branch work Babystep Mop floors in kitchen/breakfast room Vacuum family room Take out dessert for tomorrow
Had a fun class yesterday, but tired me out with the rain and the drive! Did a little bit around the house, but nothing too much.
Have a great day!
Stay safe everyone with the weather. the roads were all sanded yesterday when I was out on the highway so I was very thankful for that. supposed to warm up and melt again (but then it freezes at night) driving isn't so bad but walking can be treacherous.
Tues JDI: *wash outside of kitchen cupboards *finish power layouts *clear off table *laundry *babystep office *babystep DDs' rooms *GS mtg *Df's openhouse *go for walk
It has been really mild and all our snow is starting to melt a little. We have a new sound to entertain us. Whenever the furnace fan comes on, it is proceeded by a metallic squeal! DH is investigating.
JDI: Dailies Some bathroom cleaning Mail letter and pick up stuff in town Make squares Soak beans
Hope it isn't anything serious Bushlady.
I actually drove down to the mailbox the other day, didn't want to chance any ice under the snow. Better to be safe than sorry with a broken something or other! LOL
Had a lovely dinner with DS2, and then a relaxing evening after he left.
I'm back. I've been busy with various projects - just not posting.
I have a full day at home today. This area has "freezing rain" warnings so I am not going to go visit Mom. We've gone from super cold to temperatures close to the freezing point. Crazy weather!
My list for today - - kitchen (ROTM) cleaning, sorting, reorganizing, tossing (baby steps) - see if I can "fix" my digital camera. Yesterday I tried changing batteries in it and it wouldn't work after. I've recharged the batteries so I'll see if that makes a difference. - other tasks?
In a very JDI mood today as I have no real motivation I cleaned the kitchen on autopilot. Started a load in the washer and then swept the floors. Need to pick up more papers and magazines, toss and then the biggest JDI yet, exercise!
