Wendy: What a scare! Hope DD2 is OK.

Well, hi, all! I haven't posted here for a few days. Mostly because I haven't felt like I've done anything much about which to post. But things are getting done - this weekend, for example, I did clean the entire house, inventories and organized the freezer and pantry, did the laundry, changed the bedding, did grocery shopping, cooked/baked, ran the dishwasher, etc. Maybe one of these days I'll actually feel I've been productive!

I am lucky juju. My little maltese (teacup) fits in the kitchen sink! Don't know what I would do with 2 dogs. The cat cleans himself! LOL

Glad to hear you got so much done.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I did my cleaning and decided to bake a cake for tomorrow.
It tasted good, but had a hard time getting it out of the pan, so sliced it and placed it on the plate to serve it that way.
Have a back up dessert should I need it.
Diana: I can only imagine how cute that tiny baby is! I had a little yorkie before these two and they are so much easier bathing and transporting but I wouldn't trade my two rescues for the world. They are sisters and about 50 and 60 pounds. For saga two they are going to the vet today for shots, it takes both of us when we go to the vet. They aren't bad, just scared and it's like trying to wrangle two very strong Tasmanian devils getting them out of the truck and into the office. I bake special treats for the vet and techs at Christmas - they are a great bunch.
Diana - Ahh that sounds so cute! Mine is a bit big for the sink, but luckily a good brush is enough for him.
Iv done a huge pile of ironing today and some knitting. My backs been playing up a little so Im trying to rest a bit more, but sitting for too long also makes it ache. I just cant win either way!
I did my service call, sold another small piece of equipment as well. Got a very nice compliment that "my whole neighborhood recommended you". smile I service 28 of the 31 homes there.
Stopped at the grocery store for some chicken and meat on sale.
It was glorious weather. I came home and gave Finn a good walk. He came back muddy and filthy (juju, I can't bathe this monster-only outside with help from Laura). I dried him off with a towel.
Did some branch work, cleaned out the cabinet that holds the cookie sheets, trays, etc, tossed a few things.
Today I have no work so far, will stitch up the 3 little projects that are left, (all straight seams) and get the sewing machine put away.
DGF called and tomorrow we are getting my license, shopping in that city, then she is coming here to celebrate my birthday and staying overnight so she can have a few drinks and not drive home. I invited Laura over and will call Cathy next door also.
Then Saturday DD is coming. Diana, how long do you think I can stretch this birthday out to?
The thread posting tired me out just reading it! I think you don't give yourself any credit for all that you do. My goodness just the driving to and from work, and to DDs school would do me in in a day let alone go to work and clean and prepare meals!
You are amazing my dear friend!
Juju: Actually Gypsy was a rescue (even though it was thru my DDIL). Her aunt gave her to her father, and he passed and they thought maybe Mom would like the company (I couldn't sit on Mom's lap LOL) and she walked in and both mom and I fell in love. She sat on mom's lap in the wheelchair and looked out the window and door, and slept with mom every night!
Sylvester is a rescue too, DD1 moved out of state and couldn't take him. It is so nice to know our pets are being taken care of.
Purdy:
I have the same problem, sitting too long and you ache, moving too much and you ache. We can't win can we. How is Dad doing?
Waterlady:
I stretch celebrating as long as I can. One luncheon is scheduled for later in Feb. due to the winter weather and an illness. I also have a luncheon scheduled for April/May when a friend returns from Florida. So push it as far as you can!
Sounds like a fun bday celebration beginning!
Wendy - hope dd2 is ok congrats on the singing to dd1
Purdy - I hope the back begins to behave itself soon for you.
Waterlady - The birthday celebrations sound great so far.
I was in school Monday all day then working on my assignment in the evening, Only dinner and dishes were done.
Tuesday I continued working on my assignment played with DS and visited with DM and one of my dearest friends.
This morning I have vacuumed the ground floor, done a load of laundry and visited with the two other dear friends that form our quartet that meet every week.
This afternoon I have been in school all afternoon making masks with the children. It was messy and exhausting but great fun. Take out for tea then collapsing on the settee. Have a great evening all smile
Thanks everyone for the prayers for dd2. She's her old bouncy self! I did have the moms at co-op keep an eye out for her. She knew when to stop and drink. Also I got her in at the Eye dr and her eyes are just fine! That's a blessing!
Woke up hungry and co-op stuff on my mind about 2:30am, and didn't head back to bed until 5am. DDs let me sleep in until 7:20, then we all worked out together, ate breakfast and had devotions. For the last hour or so, we've been getting things done, schooling, and anything in between.
During the early morning I did get some co-op stuff accomplished. Picked out a verse to go on our tshirts for the musical. Wrote out some important info for next week. Planned out details for the actual musical. This year I think we're more prepared for this as we've ever been before. I think some of us are getting the "just do it" attitude, rather than letting is slide another week. So good to feel this. Now to get the kids to latch on and we'll have one great performance!!
Have a great day everyone! Cya!
Staying pretty busy. I've been filling out paperwork like crazy. We're requesting all our medical records to have on hand. We've been wanting to do this for quite a while.
We've located a vehicle to replace ours and are in the process of setting things up. Will need to call the banks today for financing. We're only doing half of the amount, so hopefully all will go well. Please pray all goes well! We've been looking for a long time!
Better get ready to work out. The girls will be up soon!
Cya!
Did pretty well yesterday. I concentrated on my desk/office area. Got desk finally cleaned and re-organized, set up my new printer, cleaned out emails I was waiting to print. Set up a binder for new area of business I want to get going. Sat down and planned two weeks worth of meals, grocery list and am going to the grocery today. Did get the girls to the vet - someone should have been filming. They have not been in DH latest truck which has the extra seat in the back. One was determined not to get in - of course the bigger one. I got one in and myself and he huffed the other one and got the door closed. What a lovely drive in the back with these two, crying, drooling and creating nose art on the windows. Good visit at the vet because no one created any bodily functions [the three P's sick } in the office or on any staff! But when we left they both flew to the truck and jumped right in and on the back seat. I was cracking up in the parking lot because I am sure the staff was watching after I said "this should be a circus"going out the door. Happily they proved me wrong. Dog Drama!
Today my goal is the stock up at the grocery, need to cook up some meals ahead of time. I am going to work on the kitchen while cooking and see how far I can get on the branch and the toss.
Have a wonderful and productive day everyone smile
