The other thread was getting long, and Bonnie has a treatment today, so am starting a new one.

Keep going ladies, we are cooking!

Part 3,, we are all doing great!!

Left early to get to my job on time, car wouldn't start. Opened the hood and took a hammer to the battery terminals, Voila, the car started.

Got stuck on the job longer than expected, had some other issues I took care of for them, they were very happy, I got paid. TYG

Came home to "lawyer mess". I cannot believe (I sold real estate for many years) that this contract took so many months. UUGGHH.

Got the snow shovel out, prepared for tonight's storm. It's getting near the end of January, we've been real lucky so far here.

Worked in the office, trying to get the bottom shelf of the bookcase to function, that's where the modem comes in from the outside, tons of wires, etc. I hate it. I have already drilled a large hole in the back of the bookcase to funnel the wires, but it still is a mess. I'll look at it tomorrow with a fresh vision.

Walked Finn, then my DGF from my old house stopped by. Finn's behavior was so terrible, I was so totally embarrassed. He just wouldn't leave her alone.

Some days you should just cancel when you wake up late, and go back to bed. LOL.

Waterlady, I know what you mean! What a day you have had!

I didn't do much today at all, but was very productive yesterday.

Looks like ya'll have been keeping quite busy!

Diana,, thank you for keeping up with the thread for me...somedays it's hard to keep up! I appreciate the help.

Waterlady, looks like some productivity going on in spite of Finn's behavior....he must have been quite thrilled to see your dgf.

Karalin, good that yesterday was productive!

Have been keeping up with the dailies. On treatment days friends have been providing meals which really helps take the worry out of things. Today I managed to get a stew going
in the crock pot this morning....so had enough to freeze up two more meals plus one for tonite....worked out nicely. I have blondies in the oven for snacking....treatment has really increased my sensitivity to chocolate and migraines so I was looking for an alternative....blondies with butterscotch morsels fills the bill nicely.

Keep up the great work everyone.

Had my last physio session yesterday, so its all down to me doing the exercises. Iv got a fair few to do once or twice a day.

I did get a bit done in the morning, but spent most of it racing around getting pack lunches ready etc.

Pooped out when I got back, but amazingly the tranport came withing 20 minutes of my appointment finishing.

I still feel abit muzzy, so hopefully I'll have a quiet day. Just going to take the dog for his constitutional.

Diana: I did dump a bag on half price books yesterday. I live out and nothing is close so I plan my trips. I have to go in the office yesterday and it is close to the office. Did a jig coming out - one bag gone and money in my pocket toward a new refrigerator. I did notice that they have magazines there for sale and inquired about their policy. They will buy them from you, the more current the more money. Now, I am sure it is not much - but Hey every bit helps and what a incentive to get through them and out of the house. Any idea what I am doing this weekend? We had an ice storm last night and it is bloody cold...hmmm..sounds like a magazine de-pile day especially since I have to go to the office on Monday. Whee!

LOL Juju!

It's snowing, we didn't get too much overnight, but coming down heavy now. Finn has been out twice, he loves it. (not like his mommy!)

Diana, yes the hand warmers are great, they have them for boots too. Hard to handle with the leash though when you have a 85 pound dog tugging away, LOL.

I'll be in all day (except for shoveling) so hope to get a lot done.

Waterlady, you need to invest in something from the top brands for skiing or other outdoor sports. Even biking. Not sure if I can post brands here but I can PM you if interested. When I worked in the bike shop (we sold skis and clothing too), I recommended gloves to people that were frustrated and wanted to be out riding in the cold but had extreme sensitivity due to frostbite. (when you bike ride in the cold, your hands take a lot due to the speed). What they bought then worked, and the technology has gotten better since. Even though they may be expensive, they will last forever and normally have a lifetime warranty.

Something to think about. I don't live far from you so I am familiar with your climate and I am out in it all the time. The right clothing makes a world of difference and it's why I am able to keep my house in the mid-50's without really feeling like I'm living in an igloo. smile

I'm working a few hours today so all I've done so far is make blueberry muffins for breakfast and take a shower and catch up on email. My running partners canceled due to snow but we may snowshoe tomorrow.

Waterlady and Diane D!

You ladies are amazing going out in the COLD! I hibernate like a bear! The sun is out today though along with the 7" of snow that fell yesterday. Another day inside for me!

Bonnie: ((((((((HUGS)))))))) and prayers. Anytime I can help, I will.

Just did the usual stuff yesterday along with crafting. Got plowed out should I even think of going out! It is freeingknowing I can leave compared to being " stuck inside".

Morning all....
Got the dailies done today so that's a good thing. Have some laundry going now...might make it to the sewing machine today, or might paint wood blocks to make monthly plaques with neat sayings on them for the different months of the year.

Woke up super early this morning so will likely have a nap planned in the day...after a week of treatments, a nap isn't unusual!

I'm with Diana, those of you going out in the cold....I prefer to hibernate too! Just don't like the cold at all...I'm more of a tropical girl now I think. LOL

Have a wonderful day all.
