I started this new thread due to the volume and consistancy of your hard work these past few weeks, lets keep it up as long as we can!

Well we are COLD and expecting a goodly amount of snow today!
Hoping I get my haircut and dye in before it arrives! Hunkering down with crafts, and books.

Today:
Routine and ETEing
Basement babystep
[s] Finish beading project
Start new beading project
[/s]
embroidery

Have a lovely day, and take those rewards when you do something.
I haven't been hearing of any of them lately! I had a birthday luncheon out for my reward yesterday, took it before my running around though.

Thursday - made chili for supper and froze some. Tidied light bulb shelf and used a wire basket to organize some of them (wire basket repurposed after tossing or moving other contents. Made another "cat pad". Fitted and basted a pair of pants
Tossed more paperwork and relocated a couple of files.

Friday JDI

Phone DSF
Dailies
Make lasagna sauce, and freeze partially cooked lasagna
Make a cake recipe I am inventing?
Ironing
Fetch mail
I could think of a ton of things that would be useful to do but I'm not sure I want to do them! For example, the cut glass light shades in the diningroom need cleaning.
Maybe I should hunt for the missing "Get up and go" that is out playing with that of Bless, Tina and others!

Yesterday I did lots of sewing, chatted with a female friend on the phone, completed my online commitments and forced myself onto my stationary bike for 30 mins (even though my "Get Up and Go" has got up and went somewhere. I didn't do any more work in my kitchen; I didn't even finish my standard ETE last evening.

For today, I have 2 possibilities depending on what happens with the thermometer in the next 2 hours. If the outdoor temperature keeps rising (so far today, it's gone from -25C to -22C) I'm thinking of going to visit Mom this afternoon. If it does not, then I have an afternoon at home doing my usual household chores.

So if I have the rest of the day at home, my plan is -
- sewing (baby steps) I can work on a project for ME!
- sorting, cleaning, reorganizing and tossing in my kitchen ROTM
- 30 min on my stationary bike (light cardio)
- standard kitchen ETE
- other tasks?

Bushlady, I don't know if you saw Cyd's post on the get up and go thread, but she says she found them all in Thailand, where she is now, where everyone is getting ready for the Chinese New Year!

Diana: You stay warm and safe and out of that snow! Brrr!

I thought I didn't get much done, yesterday, but I did most of my list: I left the note for the gardener, put gas to the car, went to the pharmacy and the Farmers' Market, cooked dinner (made crepes and French toast), did the dishes, packed lunches, put away a load of laundry, put away the photographs, called and spoke with an aunt, and watered and fertilized my indoor plants. On top of the usual stuff like taking DD to campus and back, a full day of work, etc.

The only items I left undone were: going to the bank and tidying 1 shelf in the linen closet.

JDIs for today:

- Bank
- Tidy 1 shelf in the linen closet
- Post office
- Put away 1 more load of laundry
- Plan the weekend!

Well making little bits of progress on tiny projects. Finished the one beading project, and did start the second one. Also repaired my friend's necklace (hoping it holds) having trouble keeping it closed so it doesn't fall apart.

It started snowing, and the lady who does my hair called and we rescheduled the haircut for next week. NOW I can stay inside and not worry about going out.

Bushlady:
When I had an ornate chandelier in my other dining room, I use to put papers on top of the table, and spray glass cleaner on the crystals and let it drip down onto the paper (a couple of layers of papers to protect the wood)and it cleaned itself!!!!!

It's warmed up to about -18 C (about 0 F) so I'm heading out to see Mom this afternoon.

Another reason to keep DH... he went out in the cold to plug in my car plus brushed the snow off of it. He's definitely a keeper! LOL

That is nice to hear Darlene!

We are cold and getting a ton of snow. It still is beautiful, now that I can stay inside. SOOOOOO glad I did the errands yesterday, can relax and enjoy the outside from the inside.

I haven't gotten much done over the last couple days- no motivation among other things. Lots of odds and ends but nothing spectacular or even my to-do/jdi list.

Not sure I will have alot of energy to get much done today.

I will make my JDI list:
-wash dishes
-2 loads of laundry
-strip and remake bed linens
-vacuum
-mop kitchen and bathroom floors
-wipe kitchen counters/stove
-take out garbage
-check emails
-pay bills
-mark schoolwork/planning
