I did get downstairs and sorted thru tags, bags and ribbons for christmas. I have the regular gift bags in another roll around container with drawers. Nice to keep things separated, easy to grab.

I have a couple of other containers for miscellaneous things that need a looking at. Going to remove all the gifts and place them on a couple of tables, and decide what stays as gifts and what goes.

So today:
Routine and ETEing
Post office if it doesn't snow
Pharmacy
Basement
Craft
~~~~~~~~~~~
Have an extra day because when the snow came down, I cancelled the UFP group. Even though it isn't snowing now, it might later.
Have a good day everyone.
Great going ladies.
I decided against going out. The plow guy's having plow trouble, and I was fortunate enough to see the mail lady, and told her I had put the mail in the mailbox, so she could pick it up for me.
I still have time for the pharmacy, and would rather stay in until the roads are better. Heard they aren't too good yet.
Was able to get quite a bit done in the basement and have started another donation pile there too.
Finished a book this afternoon and will do a little vacuuming and crafting.
Maureen, there is definitely a time to feel lazy, and I think I've got it, too!
Yesterday I had that nap and did a lot of reading, I really didn't have much energy for anything other than meals and cleanup.
Woke up tired today, but was able to phone DSF, who didn't want to stay on longer than 20 minutes and was quite perky.
We have had plenty of snow and had the driveway ploughed again today. Bless his heart, our fellow comes round first thing and clears out the entrances where the town plow leaves a massive amount, so that anyone needing to get out doesn't have to shovel that heavy ice and snow. Later he comes round to do the whole job. Good organisation!
Packed up a camera to send for repair and typed covering letter.
Worked on our bathroom
Unpicked waistband of a skirt that I will take in this evening.
Went into town to post office, and also found some good grocery specials which were what I needed anyway.
Maureen:
Good you arrived home in time for the bus. Fun with friends is important!
Bushlady:
I think I like when I get stuck inside with snow sometimes.
Lets one relax and enjoy the beauty of the scenery along with a less frantic pace.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today
Routine and ETEing
Change out dishes (DONE)
Branch work
Babystep
Work on anniversary cards needed this year
Embroider (almost finished!)

Decided to channge out dishes this year. I love them, but have used the same ones (other than when company comes) for a few years now. Time for a switch! It matches better with the last paint I switched in the breakfast room a few years ago. (Can you tell I am bored! LOL)

Diana, the scenery is certainly spectacular now the sun is out.

I had a productive evening as I altered the skirt I had unpicked. It was a grim job and I realised why I had never done it before. : ) In fact it was worse than I anticipated as the material seemed to act up and the stitching was starting to gather! But success came in the end and I now have a wearable skirt.

The temperature dropped to -20°C overnight and this often coincides with sleeplessness for me. So in the end I got up and started going through a drawer in the computer room, resulting in a lot of tossing - yaaaaaay!

We were both up late, the temperature is creeping up, and there are no great plans other than dailys. Hope to go to a concert this afternoon, and then in the evening, perhaps more sewing or computer room babysteps.

Yesterday was a productive day for me. YAY!
- run errands with car (2 boxes of miscellaneous stuff to the thrift store; go visit with a female friend and get a large duffle bag from her for my DS to use; stop by the church to drop off an electric tea kettle that I no longer want or need; get the mail; go to Mom's place to deal with a few things there; groceries)
- sewing (baby steps)
- PUPA (baby steps)

While I was at Mom's place, the guy who lives next door came to talk to me. He's interested in possibly buying her place when we're ready to sell. It confirms that her place is going to be reasonably easy to sell.

In addition, I got rid of a couple more of my online garage sale items. It's nice to get a few $$ AND see the stuff leave.

For today, I've decided to stay home; I had been thinking of going to visit Mom today but I'll leave that for tomorrow or Monday.

My list looks like this -
- bake bran muffins and eat 1 for breaky (eat only one even though fresh warm muffins taste like "more")
- bake buns STARTED
- kitchen ETE
- sorting/tossing/reorganizing/cleaning in kitchen (baby steps)
- empty d/w; start refilling; run if and when full
- sewing (baby steps)
- PUPA (baby steps)
- other tasks?
