I went to see Mom yesterday. That, and the Bible study, took care of my day. I'm pleased with the care Mom is getting. We know that her current location is temporary - she's going to be moved but we don't know when or where. I'm taking things one day at a time where she is concerned.

For today -
- online commitment at 3 pm
- sewing
- PUPA (baby steps)
- sorting/tossing/reorganizing
- other tasks?

Thanks Diana!
Too funny Bushlady smile
Good news Darlene.
Sounds like plenty Bless...

I got dinner in the oven, put away a few things and ended up giving DA a call. She has NEVER in my life called me so it was a treat to hear her voice on my answering machine Cmas Eve... With the busyness of the season and then a sore throat yesterday was the first time I felt I could call ~ so good to talk smile

I may or may not have a sick child home with me today... First I'm not convinced that she is really sick and second, she went somewhere with Dh while I was out and I'm not sure if that was to school or not ~ her backpack is here! Guess that is what cell phones are for!

Tues JDI:
*workout DONE
*go through hand me down clothes just delivered PROGRESS
*baby step ROTM (office)
*finish one set of cards
*read book

Darlene I'm glad you are happy with your mother's care.
Bless, hope you have the energy you need when you get back home.

Today's JDI:
Make yogurt DONE
Make broth from chicken carcass, DONE
Dust and vacuum upstairs DONE
Lunch DONE
Fetch in recycle box DONE
Now I need to drum up a little enthusiasm for the rest of the day!
Take nap, I think
Fetch laundry from basement racks
Ironing
Some work on bathrooms - very reluctant, which means I should probably do that first! But I could tackle that in the morning when I am fresh.

Darlene
So glad you are happy with mom's care. Has to be a great relief with being so far too.

Maureen:
Love connecting with family. Called two cousins today, one was home one wasn't.

Bless:
Some days are just too busy to do anything at home.

Bushlady:
You have a pretty big list that you have completed already!

~~~~~~~~~~
I am very satisfied with my progress already today. Made the new budget papers, finished up the floor in the dining room, went into the basement cleaned off the wrapping table, and gathered up 15 boxes for recycling. A couple of things for donations too.
Worked on some more valentine things too.
Good Morning!
After I post I will head downstairs and work on the same corner. More to do. This is the last time I plan on doing the basement! It is in good shape, compared to a few years ago, but there is still more I can do to make it better.
If I would quit changing things around I would have been finished quite awhile ago! LOL
The next steps may take a week or so, gathering up gifts, and going thru bags and wrappings.
Also for my reward am going out with a friend for an early dinner and a visit.
ain't that the truth!
I still have a big pile of hand me downs on my floor ~ mostly jackets... I'll need to go through and see what's in the next size up ~ don't need anything in current size...
Wed JDI:
*workout
*deliver desk
*get groceries
*make bars
*book mobile
*white bean chicken chile in CP
*desk day
*deal with (fake?) sick child...
Yesterday afternoon I took that nap, fetched up laundry, did ironing, did a little sewing.
Today:
Wash hair
Make spaghetti sauce
Clean bathroom(s?)
Go into town
More sewing - using up pieces of knit material and batting to make small cat pads for shelter.
