We were getting too long a thread so time to start part two.

I used orange juice instead of water --it was about half way up the roast.

Wow - one week into the month and part 2 already. Way to go GONers. We're rocking the lists!

I did what I planned for yesterday. Today is a simpler list - attend a Bible study this am and go visit Mom this afternoon. Before I go to see Mom I need to gather up some things that she wants. Some of the things are at my house and some of the things are at her house.

Mom's health condition is staying reasonably constant. What is changing is her attitude - she seems to be getting used to the changes.

Mon JDI:
*pilates DONE
*hand in fundraiser stuff
*get stamps/mail letters DONE
*go to DF's to learn to make treats

The last is still not 100% decided. I got a recipe from her and it sounds like it might be kinda tricky. She called today to say that she was making them if I wanted to come watch/help. She's just 25 or so miles away is all, and I have to be back in time to take the girls 30 miles in the opposite direction to gymnastics... decisions, decisions...

Last night I realised that all the Christmas cards were still hanging gaily on the wall so I took them down.

Sang in the funeral choir this morning, then mailed a letter and picked up a few groceries and made lunch.

JDI:
Change sheets and launder
Change towels and launder
Clean staircase, thereby reducing the risk of being attacked by overconfident dust bunnies.
Work on organizing/tossing goals.

Bushlady: I hope you don't get attacked by dust bunnies LOL.

I finished my list but don't feel like I've accomplished anything today! Dh agreed to take the girls to gymnastics so that helps... I need to have dinner ready though then! I'm going to have some tea (licorice spice) and relax and then get some more JDIs done.

Did my list except for the baby step in the basement, and will be home tomorrow so can start down there first thing. I know there are a bunch of boxes, etc., I can put into recycling. I also want to get some of the gifts organized and wrapped, so it may be longer than a babystep!

Maureen, the dust bunnies and I fought it out and I won, having the advantage of a weapon - the handvac!

Bed changed, sheets laundered, towels ditto. Organized the laundry room.

Might just do a little sewing now before bedtime.

Tomorrow I hope to do a lot of cleaning.

Home today and hope to finish up a few things.
