Waterlady - Fantastic news about the seamstress! Bubblegum - So sorry to hear about your aunt. Well what a busy week so far! Monday I was in school all day. Tuesday my mother visited, and I was at college in the evening. I have been to school this afternoon then visited with my cousin. In between all that I have vacuumed the house top to bottom and done copious amounts of laundry. Tomorrow I have the day off college and DH is off work, so while DS is at nursery we are having a movie day. All that is on the agenda is lots of quality time together

Bubblegum, sorry about your aunt ((((Hugs)))
Had work yesterday and got home around 2. Took Finn for a walk while it was nice out, then the rains came in.
Usual Post office run and to the bank. Wasted the rest of the evening.

Good to hear your were resting Waterlady.
Karen: Sounds like a wonderful and relaxing day with DH!
Purdy: Good going on the stationery sort. Nice when things aren't as bad as they seem.

Everyone is doing a great job! Lots of productivity going on. Waterlady, that's great about the lace! So nice to have found someone who can do the decorating part...and a seamstress! Too cool! Sounds like your dd's wedding is going to be great fun! Bubblegum, sorry to hear about your aunt ((((HUGS)))) Karen, you are keeping quite busy with school....I know how tough that is to keep a home going, raise a child and go to school! You are a busy busy lady. Diana, you are getting so much done! Purdy, good job on all you're getting done! I think you are right, being a caregiver is nearly PA work....would be nice to get the $$ wouldn't it! Been keeping up with the dailies around here.....dh vacuumed for me yesterday morning which was nice. Today I have to finish up the laundry...have a couple more loads to wash, plus about 3 loads to fold and put away. Want to get caught up today as next week is a treatment week and I don't have a lot of energy left for stuff around the house....fortunately dh and dgd are absolutely wonderful about picking up the slack. Keep up the great work everyone!

Thank you all for your sympathy, she was my father's sister and every year between Christmas and New year's eve we stayed over at her house up until my DDad died; lots of fond memories. So glad I was able to chat with her last summer at the family get together. This morning I'm a little bit under the weather, I have a stomach bug, relaxed on the couch in between trips to the bathroom; was even wondering if I should call in sick. Too late now anyway, I think I shall take a pill and tough it out, I do have tomorrow and the weekend off. Sure hope it doesn't get worse, I need to be in shape for driving 6 plus hours Saturday, to and from the funeral. Snow is piling up today, it isn't supposed to be any better over the weekend and DM will be with me but can't drive that long. Oh well, no stressing over it now. In the last hour I did feel enough energy to stand for a while, did the dishes and PUPA around the apartment. I folded 3 laundry baskets; 2 of which were DS's but my sanity for today was more important than taking a stand... besides it was easy to do sitting down. I have 2 boxes to take back to the shed and then I need to get the mail over at the mail box, one block away. Working up the mental energy to get dressed and go outside. I thought I would have enough time to pay my bills today but might wait until tomorrow morning. It's easy enough doing while still in my pj's! Plus it goes better if I'm having morning coffee, tee hee! Tonight I have to take the kids at work to basketball practice, I need to find an alternative route on Google maps, the bad weather will generate more traffic, better investment of my time than taking care of bills. So off I am, have a good day!

Oh Bubblegum, sorry about your aunt and that you're sick. Take care of yourself!
Waterlady, so neat how you're adding the details to your DD's dress. Should be beautiful when all done!
We've had our first snow of the winter and it's thrown us all off. Been focusing on keeping the fire going, schooling and then little things here and there. The girls went outside for just 15-20 minutes. They had such fun! Now they're sipping hot chocolate and finishing up their schoolwork. What sweet memories!
Well, I'd better get a skip in my step and get things done. We're having friends over for dinner and games tomorrow night. Good reason to keep the place cleaned up!! : )
Cya!

We are sharing the snow Wendy!
Cancelled all my plans for today, which worked out well, as I got my craft room finished! I also vacuumed up the shredded papers that were left on the floor, along with a spillage of another bag after I vacuumed! Was trying to lift the shredder to move into another area, and it spilled over, and what was in there jumped out ! NOW it is clean and put away.
I also worked on a project that needed one little detail added to it, and completed 26 of them! Why do I wait to finish things? Oh, yea, I didn't keep the items together!
Did laundry, in between things, and also packaged up some christmas gifts for downstairs, along with packaging up the ones I have upstairs. Put them in an under the bed storage container and one drawer in the same bedroom. Opened up the cabinet for my sweater storage too by doing that! If I waited any longer spring might have arrived!

Bubblegum, sorry to hear about your Aunt and that you are sick. That is no fun. I hope you are able to find an alternate route that is safe and no hidden dangers or road closures. Waterlady--That is neat to hear about your DD's wedding dress and the extra additions you will be doing for her dress. How exciting! Diana-I have had the shredder do things like that as well and usually have to vacuum up after transferring. When I use to take the shreddings out to my compost pile I learned to keep the lid on and take it off outside. Now I the shredder is in the guest room and haven't used it for a while but plan on for some things. Glad to her of your future Christmas gifts are all tucked away and that you are getting out your sweaters. Where I live it appears to be a heat wave, considering how winter should be. But I am loving it! Well, I took care of my dog and cat, and ate a good breakfast. Cleaned out another prego bottle that had been hidden in the fridge. I haven't been doing the cooking and the men folk seem to like spaghetti. I cooked up some spaghetti noodles to eat with the existing sauce after I discovered the already cooked ones were eaten up. Otherwise, taking it easy. We have a busy weekend coming up.
