What the heck happened to the day? I looked up and it's almost 4pm! I know I got stuff done today but I don't feel like it.

Took the dog out first thing after breakfast, it was so mild I took his coat off.

My stomach started playing up with pain today, so took it easy and then got hiccups for an hour (sipping some peppermint tea shifted both).

Iv done two half an hour stints in the bedroom sorting more paperwork. I emptied two totes, so I got to fill those up again so I want to sort through those tomorrow. I cant believe I have so much paperwork to go through.

Iv got a huge stack of stationery to go through so Im definately going to have to get rid of some of it.

Weighed myself today and Iv put on 4Ib just in the last two weeks so Im going to have to get more active and cut back a little bit. It goes that way with me, Im the same weight for years then suddenly gain or suddenly drop - it drives me potty.

Had a long, fun day with Laura yesterday.

Packed up the remaining things of her father's apartment. Was able to find a recycling center right near there that took the two tv's. Filled the pick up with items to be brought back and given to Laura's friends.

I ended up taking a (small) box of things home, some for ebay, and some I could use here. We had lunch out at a cute place in PA. Stopped at my supplier on the way home to get stuff for today's jobs.

FINALLY signed the contracts on mom's house! Now we just have the appraisal to worry about, then I will have to start selling all the furniture left in there. Uggh...

Waterlady:
Such a great memory of DD trying on both your mom's and your wedding gowns. Too precious. I didn't have mom's she made it into my christening outfit I believe.

What happened to Laura's dad? I missed something I think.

Congratulations on the signing of the house papers! An almost happy dance!

Purdy:
I know all the papers in this so called "paperless society"; I hear you.

Was able to do more work in the dining room and all I have left to do is the floor. I did mop the main bathroom floor, and washed a couple of throw rugs. Something happened with one of them, and didn't drain (too heavy I think) well, so it is hanging over the sink to dry. Will put another rug down in place.

Got the sorting of the main files done. Today I will do the budget sheets (I write them) for the year.

I think I was a bear in a previous life, boy do I find it difficult to be productive in winter time! Cold and dark makes for a less than motivated bubblegum. I come home, nap for at least an hour and then eat, PUPA, vegge on the computer or in front or the tv before falling asleep again, wake up, get things ready for the next day and go to bed. Yucky evenings! For sure 2012 resolutions is all about getting into better routines.

This week should be better, it's my working evenings week. I've allready taken care of branch work in the laundry area, took a little time to pamper myself, using up sample products. Now time to get ready, need to gas up the car and go to the bank before work.

I think you may have just been tired or worn out.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Made up my budget sheets and put them into monthly files.
Worked in the basement, and did one area, have some recycling to bring up too.
Did the floor in the dining room. Washed the floor in the main bathroom, put a clean rug down.
Wrapped up the tea pots for the donation pile.
Swept the back corner and started to stack the Christmas bins. I went through them quickly and pulled some stuff out and tossed it.
Contained all the lights in another. Had I put them in neatly wrapped, I could have made more room, but I just wanted to get them all together, they were scattered around the garage. I have way too much Christmas stuff still, and more bins to go through in the other garage.
I had to quit because I ran out of covered bins, and have decided that nothing is staying in the garage unless it is in a covered container, clearly marked. I used duck tape to label the outsides. I need to buy a few more.
I pulled one container of household stuff to the house, washed it thoroughly and will put it all on ebay this morning.
The dog was up three times during the night, wouldn't come in each time, so I've been up since before 4 am. ugghh. We have a fox in the neighborhood, maybe he was smelling that, or just enjoying the warm night air.
I need to get my Christmas Tree back into my garage. So Kudos to you and your productivity! I at least have the fake tree in the box, but still in the LR. I also have a new dog, and getting to know him. He is a sweetie and is keeping me on my toes after not having one for over two years or so. I found out early that he likes watermelon and bananas, and today that he likes grapes! My family wonders if he even tastes these foods...I know he can smell them! LOL!
So my goal is to take him walking so that I go walking, it has been very nice weather where I live, but I've been afraid to walk him from my yard as I don't want him to wander farther. But there has been times he could have wandered and sticks around home. I need my invisible fence repaired to help keep him from wandering if I'm not home.
Anyway, congrats on getting your Christmas stuff organized. This year I only took put up the tree and not with my usual ornaments due to DH didn't bring down the right box. So I used what was in the box that came down, older type ornaments that were more sentimental and not matching. But tree comes with colored lights so that works for me. I use to always get a real tree, but they are becoming more work for me now that my children are all gone or busy.
That is what I'm noticing! I've been on FB and catching up on there. But considering that I've not been functioning much before noon anyway, this is good! wink
I don't know where my threads are that I posted on. I don't think this is the January Goals, but it works for now until I get use to the forum. I worked so hard yesterday, that I'm a bit tired today! DH bought me some new rugs for my kitchen and laundry room area that get a lot of dirt from the men folk around here. But I didn't want to put them down until I cleaned up the other rugs and floor. Sort of like, put on Sunday Clothes without washing behind the ears! laugh Unless that is a form of procrastination, but I don't think so since I've been productive since my last visit here and washed towels and blankets, put together socks, tossed some socks, and sorted through some more bath soaps, etc. Also vacuumed the LR, put the Christmas tree in its box, vacuumed the hallway and my bedroom. Cleaned the kitchen counters and emptied and loaded the dishwasher. It is so nice to report, since I don't get paid for this and noone sees or knows what I do all day. Well, they might wonder... smile
