Happy New Year everyone!
We managed to stay out at our friends' till midnight, and it was a good evening. I made my mushroom lasagna and chopped nearly a kilo of mushrooms plus the celery, pepper and onion. I had doubled the recipe, and then it was too much for the 13 x 9 pan, but I filled it fairly well and then of course it dripped onto the oven floor. Guess who hadn't put the usual piece of foil down there? So JDI for today or tomorrow will be clean up oven (and the selfclean still hasn't been fixed!)
This afternoon we are invited out again at 2pm, so I can forget the oven for a while. : )

Nice to see you Dianaro, Being born in 1939 I am blown away when I see 2012. So much has happened on this little blue ball just in my lifetime. The changes I can remember thinking as Science Fiction are now fact . Too numerous to mention but just look at what we are doing right now.Talking to each other even while miles apart. Lets hope we can get together on how to steward this beautiful planet and try to be kind to all the creatures on it. Once again wishes for a compassionate New Year. Ann39

I am popping in here, after such a long time missing in action (not the bold italicizing, which means, I indeed have been terribly active ! :-) ) simply to wish you all, my dear friends from GON and the Motivation Boards, a Happy Healthy Organized Year 2012!
From the bottom of my heart, I want to tell you that even if I don't post here, I keep you all dear in my mind and spirit, and it is a helpful thought.
May 2012 give us joys, health and strength, and may we all have a good year!
See you soon (I hope, this is certainly part of my resolutions, but you know how resolutions go, uh? )

Update from yesterday - a good day! - church - find a good place for my "garage sale stuff" while I wait to see if anyone is interested. (moved the things to an area in my basement - by the end of January they will be gone, one way or another!) - routine ETE cleaning - start gathering DGS's things together in preparation for them going home tomorrow - probably do laundry so the kids have mostly clean clothes for going home - enjoy our last full day with the not-so-little guys we played one board game and watched 3 movies, one on DVD and two on TV.
For today - - finish packing up DGS's things and put in my car - go visit Mom in the hospital - meet DD at the hospital; transfer the boys and their things to her. - meet up with 2 of my DBs at the hospital - enjoy the rest of today with Mom and my brothers

Good Morning!
Short list today but it involves alot! Routine and ETEing Take down Family room tree Take down angels embroider] Decided that the decorations on the mantle are "wintery" not Christmasy, so am leaving those up for the month of Jan. Removed the stockings, etc. that belong to the christmas decorations.
Bless: YOU definitely deserve a nap or two with all that has been going on in your life for the past couple of months (since Oct,, right?). Hopefully you can relax before returning to work. Company is gone and the house is all clean and looking brand new! ENJOY!
