I am happy to report that I had a productive day yesterday. - go to the bank and get groceries I walked so I got a few minutes of fresh air and movement - wash out fridge (baby steps) - clean/sort/reorganize in kitchen (baby steps) I cleared and cleaned 4 drawers; sorted out some excess utensils to get rid of - sewing - PUPA (baby steps)
A 3-drawer dresser left my house last evening. The lady that bought it was happy to have it and I was happy to see it go. Win win!
For today - - church followed by a pot luck lunch - sewing (I have a bit to do before I go to visit Mom again) - rest and relax; it's Sunday

Today I woke up absolutely exhausted, not my body as much as I had a hard time keeping my eyes open even at 8am! And I felt I slept well. I think it was my workouts yesterday, this is what I get for taking a year off of my hard work.
So today I am forgoing my ride. Bummed but the wind is picking up and it will take too long to mountain bike at this time of day.
Plans are: work on the new bookkeeping project spend 15 mins in ROTM go through little box of stuff I pulled off counter get xmas decorations to attic put away rest of clothes pull apart the "ends" my ex screwed on shelves I removed from the ROTM last week and put all that wood away

Did part of yesterday's list: put gas to the car, took DD to gymnastics, renewed the library book, did laundry (2 loads), did a load of dishes, cleaned part of the house and PUPA'd, and switched out closets with DD. That last item was a BIG project - not simply a matter of carrying armfuls of clothes from one closet to another, but also, sorting through and culling (I've 2 bags of items for donating), clearing up items that were piled on the guest bed, and putting away my fabric stash in the old dresser drawers she emptied, etc. Tidied and cleaned up the 3rd room. My friend who was supposed to visit me, called and cancelled, which was OK (I had been kind of expecting it) - Take DD to bank? - decided to postpone it till Monday. - Take recyclables (batteries) to library - MONDAY - Take recyclables (printer cartridges) to office supplies store - MONDAY - Take down/put away holiday decorations - MONDAY - I am expecting an aunt and a cousin to visit today, so I want to keep the decorations up for them. JDIs for today: - Put away laundry - put away dishes- PUPA/Tidy up family room- Tidy kitchen- Quick clean bathrooms- Find room for the dance costumes- Prepare lunch- Water garden

Way to go everyone!
I completed everything but some planning on my list yesterday. So that will be the first thing on my list today.
My JDI list is simple and small today since I have to go back to work tomorrow and I am just taking it easy today.
JDI's for today: -planning -pork roast in the slow cooker (cooking as we speak) -sort paperwork -Me time- play computer game, paint nails, watch football, crafting-beads

Did the laundry yesterday and put most away except socks! just have to pair them. I'm tired, and like Diane D I thought I slept well but don't feel that great today. Went to church, made lunch, had nap. Just taking it quietly today as I still have a bit of a headache and eyes don't feel good.
There is another funeral mass tomorrow morning, so will head out to the choir again. Saturday there were 3 funerals in town, and I think there are 2 tomorrow! But at least there was a long break for our area over Christmas.

You all are doing wonderfully.
Darlene: Great going on selling your 3 drawer chest. That is great!
Bushlady: so sad so many funerals. Lost one of our Eucharistic Ministers over the weekend. Nice man, but he died iin his sleep.
Bless: Have a nice visit with your family.
Mary Hope your breakfast was nice.
DianeD: Glad you are listening to your body.
Tinytina: How do you cook the pork roast in the slow cooker, flavorings, and what do you add in it to cook it, just water? Never tried that before.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Taking the day off.
I don't measure LOL! So no recipe but I added dried apricots and cranberries, some fresh cranberries, orange juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, dried lemon peel, onion and garlic powder, and brown sugar. I cooked it low and slow and then drained sauce and fruit into a pot and boiled it on the stove until it was a chutney consistency. It was very tasty.
