Recycle and trash for me again....getting energy back so may be able to do some actual tossing in my closet.

Today's tossing count -
1. a coffee maker (for $$ Whooo hoooo!)
2. some rich Christmas baking (DH and I didn't want to eat it so I "fed" the stuff to my trash can!)

I did the math - I need to be getting rid of 5.5 items per day to meet this goal. So far, I'm off to a slow start but when I hit certain areas of my house, I will likely pick up the speed.

I have some items set aside that are definitely going to leave - either for $$ or donated. I won't count those things until they actually leave. For the time being, they are listed on an online garage sale site.

Ok so I know I said I would wait until Friday but it is after midnight so I will update here before bed. I have been massively busy this week and to say I have had a clearout is an understatement. Here are my totals:

14 various magazines and catalogues
42 items of clothing, shoes, accessories, costume jewellary etc
11 books
4 Christmas
5 Jigsaws
25 CDs
8 DVDs
10 videos
1 Gameboy
1 printer
10 items of stationary - pens, notepads, address books, etc

Lots of coat hangers (counted as one)
3 gift sets
Lots of plastic bags again counted as one
1 eyeshadow

174 items so far.

I am hoping for much more as I get into the linen stores and other seldom looked at areas.

Not only are these things gone, I got some $$ for them. I'm loving this online garage sale site!
