Todays productivity laundry, ironing and taking the tree down. I also took the curtains down in the bedrooms and upstairs hall window and washed them.

I did my exercise video and this evening tried some pilates. What a laugh lets just say my balance needs a lot of work lol.

My granddad was at mine from 11am until 8pm so I pottered around whilst entertaining him .Well DS did the entertaining I just provided the refreshments smile wink

Thursday dailies and routine tasks. Updated stock-up cupboard in garage, checked flyers, created menu plan and completed shopping at 3, nearby major food chains. It was worth the effort since loss leaders were substantial. It took me an hour to tidy pantry, prep and put away groceries.

Made two meatloaves, delivered one + salad to neighbor who is in the throes of packing and moving. I'm sorry they are leaving our complex, they have been wonderful neighbors and friends. Made CROCKPOT BBQ short ribs, mashed turnip, Asian style turnip pancakes and Brownies which I've frozen for back-up.

Wrestled the down filled duvet out of it cover to be washed. While the weather remains unseasonable it's too warm! Re-made bed with wool blanket + fuzzy throw. Did a quick tidy of the linen cupboard and discovered three bins will fit each shelf. Using bins 'drawer' like works well so long as I don't let them get heavy.

Had a quick job in the morning yesterday, then came home and tackled the house.

Finally have the LR vacuumed. All the Christmas items are down. I struggled with trying to hook up the electronics, then gave up hoping DD will be here this weekend to help. She cancelled! Turns out most of them aren't compatible anyway with the new HD stuff. They will get moved to the Bedroom TV. I'm so tech challenged.

Took Finn for a walk, did another load of laundry.

It's going to be in the 50's today and tomorrow, I can't wait to get outside. The bed of my truck is full of leaves, would like to clean it out. And of course, the garage is calling my name. LOL

Got another half an hour in the bedroom done, much to my dogs disgust who whined through the whole thing.

Cooked lunch, then had to go through my Dads paperwork as he'd lost something, it made me finish it all off. We did find it in the end so thats a good thing. I'll have to get a second hand filing cabinet for the boys to store their stuff in, they are so disorganised you wouldnt believe.

Im halfway through making my dog a new fleece coat for when it gets cold in the house. I think he rather likes it as his not being a wiggle bottom today.

My goals were somewhat met yesterday, I went into my gym for my doctor ordered workout and felt great after.

I also cleared full trash bags out of the entryway left from the first two days of office/workshop clearing instead of piling until the whole room is done, and tidied the laundry room of what I had dropped in there as well.

I kept reminding myself that if I was just moving stuff to a different room, I wasn't gaining anything for my efforts.

Went to the post office, yesterday, did a load of laundry, and visited friends/neighbors.

Finally catching up, dailies done as well as Friday routine. Beds stripped and re-made, cleared flat surfaces which were surprisingly ok, just water jug, BP kit and article read. Dust, vacuumed 3 of 4 levels,[4th not used since Christmas weekend]. DH completed his office-in-a-desk year end clear out and the dining rm looks great.

We'll have friends in to watch a couple of movies. They suggested we order in Chinese take-out. I'll do a fruit tray for dessert since I shopped yesterday. We still have a big jar of popcorn should anyone feel traditional. DH is searching the deep freeze for his [hoarded] container of Smarties which are part of the movie experience for him [some guys never grow up. childhood favorites are still treasured]
