Swept the area for the new trash cans, and moved the old ones out so DS2 can move them to the shed for me.

Did some errands, and grocery shopping (needed a few things to even out dinners from the pantry and freezers).

Cleaned out the pantry and brought in the pop cases I bought in case the weather gets normally cold again. I love the 40's and 50s so far. Don't want the cans freezing.

Taking a break and will work on something else.

Up early this morning for playgroup, then went straight to the chiropractors. After that DH, DS and I went to the pub for lunch and my dad joined us there shortly afterwards.

We then went grocery shopping. Back home I sorted all the recycling, did some ironing, and put all the donations in the car for drop off tomorrow.

Worked more in the laundry room. Tossed another 14 things from cabinets.

Never got into the basement today.

The cake is decorated!! It took almost all day. (It's an ice cream cake, so I would bring it out, decorate some, put it back, work on something else, then get it out again...repeat several times.)

Also finished icing some mini cupcakes (just in case). I cut some black olives this afternoon. My friend came over for a little bit. She's one of the music helpers and needed my help with something. Also helped DDs with schoolwork.

Been picking up and straightening as I go along today. It's looking pretty good around here!

Dh helped cut a few veggies tonight. That will help for tomorrow. Bummer is that he was told today that he has to work tomorrow. He might be able to get off to come to the party, but he's not sure. I really don't want to do this on my own!

I have my list of things to do in the morning, and then the list of activities and the order they go in. I thought it would keep me from having to make too many decisions at the last minute. (That can be stressing to me sometimes)

Well, I'm going to go veg for a little so I can fall asleep and not be up thinking, "oh, I should have done such and such!"
Nite!

Dianaro - Very true they do. He could have been giving me verbal instructions on how to do it better.:)

I did another half an hour in the bedroom, cleared all my language books into one tote and thats under the bed. Im going to keep half clear for my dogs den - he uses it when he gets frightened of fireworks/thunder etc. The weird thing is if I dont dust my breathing is ok, but if I do wet dust then it starts up even with the mask on - doesnt make sense does it!

Iv finished the dog coat, so Iv put it in the wash before the final fitting as I forgot to prewash the fleece. Iv also ordered some wine coloured fleece so he can have two different types.

It was so nice out yesterday, I loved every minute of it.

The yard got a little muddy, and the floors are a mess from the dog going in and out all day. I had the back door open most of the day. I finally finished the basement door insulating project. Had to shave some of the door off to close tightly. It's got to help to keep the house warmer.

Then I put some plastic up on the outside wood screen door. I'm sure the cold is going to come very soon, and it really keeps the kitchen warmer if I wrap that door. Finn has a homemade doggie door exit in the door, I have to remind him it is now covered, it's too funny.

Got all the cardboard out for pickup from the table and new tv.

I invited Laura to come over last night for Little Christmas, since I wasn't home for the holiday. I made some shrimp, chicken fingers and kielbasa snacks and we had a bottle of champagne. Finn got the rest of his gifts he didn't open when we were away. One of them was so funny, he played with it all night, and slept with it under his paw.

Today I am planning to clean up the carport while it is warm and would like to get in the garage to put away the Christmas things and do some more tossing.

Today will see the last of the outside Christmas lights put away! Got them down yesterday but garden ones were wet and needed to sit under cover to dry off.

Taking another stab at mending pile, torn over whether to try and put a new zipper in a jacket I really like, pay someone else to do it or just toss. It's not an expensive jacket and could be costly to have it done, has anyone used a seamstress lately?

Nice lazy day today....went for a hike at the park for 2 hrs, picked up bagels on the way home, then had lunch and a nap for all. Got a bill and netflix movie out in the mail. That's about it.

DH cleaning out our rain gutters now and having a boys night so I'm planning on making some to-do lists and tackling a pile of paperwork later. Have a great night all smile

It was so nice out yesterday, I only had on a light sweater.

Was able to get in the garage. Made a lot of headway in there. It's starting to "shape up". How exciting that is!

Swept the back corner and started to stack the Christmas bins. I went through them quickly and pulled some stuff out and tossed it.

Contained all the lights in another. Had I put them in neatly wrapped, I could have made more room, but I just wanted to get them all together, they were scattered around the garage. I have way too much Christmas stuff still, and more bins to go through in the other garage.

I had to quit because I ran out of covered bins, and have decided that nothing is staying in the garage unless it is in a covered container, clearly marked. I used duck tape to label the outsides. I need to buy a few more.

I pulled one container of household stuff to the house, washed it thoroughly and will put it all on ebay this morning.

The dog was up three times during the night, wouldn't come in each time, so I've been up since before 4 am. ugghh. We have a fox in the neighborhood, maybe he was smelling that, or just enjoying the warm night air.

Waterlady - isnt it strange with dogs and their toys. The ones you think they will adore gets ignored and the others they just cant do without. This year Connor got a blue cow squeaky toy and he prefers it to all the numerous others he has. He also has a white dog soft toy (Snowy) that he sleeps with.

Iv been rushed off my feet this morning. I got the rubbish, recycle and accounts done. I then restocked Dads med box for the week. Iv swept the front garden and cleared up any old/stale bird food and put that all in for recycling and put a fresh lot out.

Iv just literally sat down just before dishing up the beef roast for lunch.
